New Family Orientation - Monday, August 10, 6:30-7:30 PM: New families are invited to learn about Loyola's various programs, services, and activities. Both adults and kids are welcome!
First Day of School and Welcome Breakfast - Wednesday, August 12, 8:30-9:30 AM: The PTA will host a Welcome Breakfast in the Multi-Purpose Room where parents can learn about school programs, sign up for after-school activities, and seek opportunities to volunteer in and out of the classroom and at school events. Come grab a bite to eat and meet the Loyola community!
Back-to-School Picnic - Friday, August 14, 5:00-7:00 PM: Start your school year off with a fun back-to-school picnic! Families will have a blast meeting teachers, reuniting with friends and building new relationships! Bring a blanket/chairs, pack a picnic dinner and/or purchase food from one of the food trucks we'll have on campus.
LASD Welcome Back Social - Saturday, August 15, 5:30-7:00 PM: You’re invited to join families from schools across the district to celebrate the kick-off of a new school year on Saturday, August 15th, 5:30-7:00 PM at Almond Elementary. Purchase food from food trucks and Kona Ice or bring a picnic dinner. Kids can enjoy the playground and join field games.
Back-to-School Night - Tuesday, August 25, 6:00-7:30 PM: Hear about all the exciting things your little lions will be doing this school year from the principal and our teachers. This is an adult only event.
Parents' Night Out - Tuesday, August 25, 7:00-9:00 PM: Babysitters have already been booked, so make the most out of your night! Come to Redwood Grill in the Rancho Shopping Center immediately following Back-to-School night to socialize with other parents. Light appetizers will be provided by the Loyola PTA.
First PTA Meeting of the Year - Friday, September 18, 8:45 AM: Our first association meeting of the year will be held immediately following Friday assembly. We’ll approve the 2026-27 budget, review the change in our district's fund allocation and fundraising goals, see how your generous donations are used, and learn about this year’s activities and opportunities to get involved!
