    Ironwood is a weekend dedicated to strengthening men and women who desire to be deeply rooted in Christ, firmly established in His Word, and prepared to live faithfully regardless of the challenges they face. Just as the ironwood tree is known for its remarkable strength and resilience, followers of Christ are called to develop unwavering faith that remains steadfast through every season.

    Throughout the weekend, you'll experience biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, meaningful conversations, worship, and time to build authentic relationships with other believers. Whether gathered around the table, beside the lake, or around the campfire, every moment is designed to encourage one another toward spiritual maturity and faithful endurance.

    Our prayer is that you leave with a stronger foundation in Christ, deeper friendships within the body of believers, and renewed confidence to stand firm in your faith, your family, your church, and your calling.

  • BREAKOUT SESSIONS

  • Ironwood breakout sessions are designed to help you go deeper in your walk with Christ, grow in practical areas of faith, and equip you to serve others. Throughout the weekend, you will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of sessions that address real-life challenges, spiritual growth, discipleship, and ministry.

    Sessions may include topics such as Deliverance Training, learning how to recognize spiritual bondage and understand the biblical principles of freedom in Christ; Discipleship Training, developing the skills and confidence to make disciples and help others grow in their relationship with Jesus; and Growing in Christ, exploring practical ways to strengthen your faith, deepen your relationship with God, and become more like Christ.

    Other sessions may focus on prayer, spiritual warfare, marriage and family, leadership, studying Scripture, hearing from God, sharing your faith, and serving within the local church.

    These sessions are meant to be practical, biblical, and applicable—not simply information to hear, but truth to live out. Choose the sessions that challenge you, equip you, and help you take your next step in following Jesus.

  • Free Time & Recreation

    Retreats are designed to provide both meaningful fellowship and time for personal refreshment. Throughout the weekend, designated free time allows participants to enjoy the retreat grounds at their own pace. Whether you choose to join a friendly game of volleyball, cornhole, or other outdoor activities, cast a line and enjoy a peaceful afternoon of fishing, relax with a good book by the lake, or spend quiet time in prayer and conversation, there is something for everyone.

    Guests are also welcome to explore Appleton City and the surrounding area, where you'll find local shops, parks, restaurants, and small-town charm. Whether you prefer adventure, fellowship, or simply slowing down to enjoy God's creation, free time is an opportunity to recharge, build relationships, and create lasting memories. Participation in all recreational activities during free time is voluntary and left to each guest's discretion.
