What is an Ag Awareness Crate?
The Ag Awareness Crate is designed to provide educational resources for teachers to utilize and bring agriculture into the classroom.

Each box is $30 and will include the following:
- Supplies for ONE class of THIRTY students
- Ag accurate book
- Ag Mags
- Differentiated lesson plan for grades k-5 including:
  - whole group mini lessons
  - access to printable worksheets
  - experiment supplies if applicable
  - recipe to share
Students in grades K-5 will explore the life cycle of an apple and identify the parts of an apple. Then they will discover the process of apple tree grafting. Next, students will investigate the importance of pollination and the role bees play in producing healthy apple crops. Lastly, students will conduct an interactive experiment to explore the browning process of apples. All classrooms are invited to submit its apple browning investigation to the 111th Pennsylvania Farm Show.
