  • Terms and Conditions 

    General 

    1. Season pass holders must have their passes on their person at all 

    times while using the ski lifts and terrain, and must present their pass 

    for inspection to ski area employees and volunteers. 

    2. Season passes are non transferrable and non-refundable and will be 

    revoked for misuse, foul language, or violation of the Alpine 

    Responsibility Code. 

    3. All passholders must sign a Release of Liability form prior to receiving 

    their Season Pass. 

    4. Passholders must show proof of age and address when picking up 

    passes. 

    5. A $25 fee will be charged to reprint any lost or forgotten season 

    passes. 

    Season Pass Fraud Policy 

    1. Passholders are responsible for any misuse while their pass is not in 

    their possession. Any lost or stolen passes should be reported 

    immediately to the Rental Shop. 

    2. Passholders caught transferring, selling, and/or sharing their pass will 

    have their pass revoked for the remainder of the ski season. 

     

    Refundable Pass Option Terms 

    1. Only passholders that purchase a Refundable Pass Option concurrently 

    with their season pass will be eligible for a refund. 

    2. If a parent, spouse, or child (18 and under) is also a refundable 

    passholder and chooses to cease participation due to a family 

    member’s injury or illness, they are also entitled to a refund. 

    3. Season Passes will be refunded for the following reasons: 

    a) Debilitating injury, pregnancy, death, or illness that prevents 

    participation in skiing or snowboarding for the remainder of the 

    season. For medical refunds, a doctor’s note is required. 

    b) Passholder’s current employer requires a residential relocation of 

    at least 200 km from Summit Lake. The transfer must take place at 

    least 45 days after the pass purchase and must be involuntary. 

    c) If you are unable to use your pass because the municipality, 

    country, state, province, or country in which your permanent 

    residence is located is subject to a “quarantine”, “stay at home” or 

    “shelter in place” or other comparable mandatory government 

    order lasting thirty (30) or more consecutive days. Your 

    permanent residence refers to your fixed, permanent, and 

    principal home for legal and tax purposes. 

    d) All refunds will be issued according to the Refund Schedule. 

    4. The Refund Option does not include: 

    a) Intentional self-injury or pre-existing injury. 

    b) Voluntarily leaving the area for work or travel, or any other 

    change in employment status other than a transfer by current 

    employer. 

    c) Environmental or other circumstances such as weather 

    conditions, road closures, mechanical failures, vandalism, fire. 

    d) Travel plan cancellations (deciding not to travel to Summit Lake). 

     

    Refund Schedule 

    1. Prior to opening day (usually Dec 21-Jan 2) – 100% refund. 

    2. Until January 31, 2025 – 50% of the purchase price. 

    3. Until February 15, 2025 – 25% of the purchase price. 

    4. After February 15, 2025 – no refund will be issued.
