SEASON FORMAT: DRAFT

This season will be DRAFT.
Once all registrations have been received, we will select captains based on experience and dodgeball knowledge. This is an effort to keep the selected teams fairly balanced!
Play one game a week against other teams for 8 weeks, then join us for an end-of-season Saturday tournament to battle for 1st place!
NOTES FOR CAPTAINS:
- Teams will be drafted by captains in a TBD captains meeting the week of Aug 17-21
- The draft will still implement certain roster rules to ensure fairness among teams, similar to random draw or BYOT
- If you want to be a captain, please be sure to note that in your registration form
NOTES FOR ALL PLAYERS:
- Due to drafting rules, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pairing requests
- ALL registered players will be drafted onto a team (please see below for the dates of season and tournament)
- There will be a MAXIMUM number of teams (and therefore players) so register early to guarantee your spot
- If there are enough players for additional FULL teams, then more teams MAY be added
- If you are unable to register (due to the limit on players) please fill out the waitlist form HERE

BREAK: Papago on Fall Break
Week 6: Tue, Oct 13
Week 7: Tue, Oct 20
Week 8: Tue, Oct 27
Tournament: Sat, October 31 at Papago Elementary (approx 10 am-3pm) then afterparty at Castaways

Substitutes: During the regular season, you must have approval from the opposing team. Substitutes are also allowed for the tournament, but they must have approval by all captains AND the Cactus Dodgeball Committee.

IF we have more than 8 teams, games could be scheduled at 6:30, 7:20, 8:10 pm. If there is a game time you are UNAVAILABLE (due to work, child care, etc), please let us know which time you CANNOT make and why. We will do our best to accommodate you when scheduling.
