Consignor Agreement

Thank you for choosing Once Worn Consignment! We are committed to providing a welcoming shopping experience while helping you earn money from your gently loved clothing and accessories. Please read and sign this agreement before consigning items.

 

1. Consignor Eligibility

•  Consignors must be at least 18 years old.
• By signing this agreement, you certify that you are the legal owner of all items consigned.

 

2. Accepted Items

•  Once Worn Consignment accepts gently used, clean, stylish, and current women’s and children’s:
•  Clothing
• Shoes
• Handbags
• Accessories
• Baby gear (select items)
• Toys (clean, complete, and in working order)

 Items must be:

•  Freshly laundered
• Free of stains, odors, pet hair, excessive wrinkles, or damage
• In excellent, resale-ready condition
• Seasonally appropriate
• Current styles (typically within the last 3–5 years unless vintage or specialty items)

 We reserve the right to decline any item for any reason.

 

 3. Item Drop-Off

•  Consigned items must be dropped off October 4–6 during the designated intake hours announced by Once Worn Consignment.

 All items must be:

•  Freshly laundered
• Free of stains, tears, odors, excessive wear, and pet hair
• In excellent, resale-ready condition
• Seasonally appropriate
• Brought on hangers AND appropriately tagged 

 Once items have been accepted into inventory, they may not be removed prior to the conclusion of the sale.

 

4. Consignment Period

•  This agreement applies to the Once Worn Consignment Pop-Up Sale, which will be held October 6–10.
•  All accepted items will remain available for sale throughout the event unless sold.

 

5. Commission Options

•  Regular Consignor – 65%

 Regular consignors receive 65% of the final selling price of each item sold.

 The consignor is responsible for preparing their items according to Once Worn Consignment’s guidelines, including tagging, hanging, and any other required preparation.

 

• 
  VIP Drop-Off Consignor – 50%

 Our VIP Drop-Off Service is designed for busy consignors who want a hassle-free experience.

 VIP consignors receive 50% of the final selling price of each item sold.

 With this service, Once Worn Consignment will:

•  Inspect accepted items
• Price all accepted merchandise
• Hang and prepare items for the sales floor
• Transport items to the pop-up sale
• Display and merchandise items throughout the event
• Process all sales
• Issue the consignor’s payment after the event

 This service allows consignors to simply drop off their items and let Once Worn Consignment handle the rest.

 Once Worn Consignment reserves the right to decline any items that do not meet quality, style, or seasonal standards. Items not accepted for the sale will be returned to the consignor at the time of intake or by another mutually agreed-upon arrangement.

 

6. Unsold Items

 All unsold items must be picked up on October 13 during designated pickup hours.

 At the time of registration, consignors must choose to pickup all items or donate 

Items designated for pickup that are not collected on October 13 will be considered abandoned and become the property of Once Worn Consignment. They may be donated or otherwise disposed of at our discretion. No compensation will be provided for abandoned items.

 

7. Item Care

 Once Worn Consignment takes reasonable care of all consigned items but is not responsible for:

•  Theft
• Fire
• Flood
• Natural disasters
• Damage caused by customers
• Acts beyond our control

 Consigning items is done at the owner’s risk.

 Once Worn shall in no event be responsible for negligence of consignor

 

 8. Personal claim

 I agree to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting from participation in the sale from whatever cause against Once Worn, the lessors of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants, or the insurer of Once Worn.

 

 9. Authenticity

•  Consignors guarantee all designer or branded merchandise is authentic.
•  Counterfeit merchandise will not be accepted and may be reported when appropriate.

 

10. Recalls & Safety

•  Children’s products must comply with current safety standards. Items must be in good condition and not  defective, broken, or damaged in any way.
•  Once Worn Consignment will not accept recalled products or items that do not meet applicable safety guidelines.

 

11. Returns/ Refunds

 I understand that consignor registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

 All sales are final. No returns.

 

12. Account Activity

 Consignors are responsible for keeping their contact information current.

 

13. Changes and cancellations

Once worn reserves the right to modify or cancel events without notice.

 

14. Registration Fees

Early bird registration fee is $15 and must be paid at time of registration. You can also choose to have the full $20 registration fee deducted from sale proceeds out of your consignor check. 

If no items sell, or if sale proceeds do not cover the registration fee, the registration fee remains due to Once Worn. 

 

 15. Agreement

 By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the policies of Once Worn Consignment.

 It is agreed that this agreement shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama.
