    The Innovation Lab at the ODU Peninsula Center (600 Butler Farm Rd, Hampton, VA) 

    Join Rosie Riveters for a hands-on, project-based STEM program for students ages 5-14. The Rosie Riveters program provides a fun space for young minds to imagine, create, and play while devloping their skills in STEM.

    Each participant will receive:

    • In-person class sessions with a Rosie Riveters instructor
    • Materials needed to build each project
    • A Rosie Riveters headband 

    Application Process: Applications will be accepted until September 25th at 5PM. Rosie Riveters will notify all applicants of their acceptance status by the week of September 28th. Please complete a separate application for each child (K-8th grade) interested in attending.

    Participation criteria: The Rosie Riveters program meets four times. We want your child to get the most out of it, so please plan to have them attend all of the in-person sessions.

    Everyone is welcome to participate in the Rosie Riveters program. We believe everyone has a role in shaping the future of STEM and a shared responsibility to help create that change.

    Our free hands-on STEM program will be held on the following Saturdays: 10/17, 10/24, 11/7 & 11/14 at the Innovation Lab at the ODU Peninsula Center in Hampton, VA or K-8th graders.

  • Program Donation

    All programs are completely free for participants. If you are able to contribute, your support helps us keep these opportunities available, but it is entirely optional and has no impact on program placement. Suggested donation amounts are $25 to support one project or $100 to cover a full four-week program for one child.
