TERMS & CONDITIONS / PRIVACY POLICY
I. General
By accessing a website operated by the Center for Strategy and Cultural Diplomacy (referred to as "the organization" and "CSCD" in this agreement), a social enterprise organization based in Pakistan with sub office at the United States, Hongkong, you (referred to as "the participant," "partner," "registered user," and "contractual partner" in this agreement) declare that you have understood and accepted the following Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
II. Data Privacy Protection
We ensure highly compliant privacy protection for your data. However, CSCD is not responsible for any information that was illegally taken from our databases. The participant agrees not to take any legal actions toward the organization due to cyberattacks.
III. Application Fee
The application fee is Non-Refundable and cannot be challenged if you are not selected in any category.
IV. Events Organized by CSCD and/or its Affiliated Entities
The participant understands and agrees that the application fee is non-refundable. The participant agrees not to take any legal actions toward the organization for refusal to refund the application fee. Participants also agree not to engage in any oral, visual, and/or auditory defamation of the organization and understand that a breach of this clause will result in legal actions.
Travel expenses purchased by the organization are for the participant's personal use and may not be re-sold or transferred under any circumstances without the prior consent from the organization. The organization is not responsible for any loss, injury, and/or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement of an event. In the case of either the event date or location being changed, tickets/badges will remain valid.
V. Payment
CSCD uses third-party providers, such as Eventbrite, PayPal, Western Union, and Stripe, to provide secure online payment services. The use of these services is subject to their own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
CSCD may request verification of payment for the purpose of resolving possible disputes about the purchase and application fee of the participant.
VI. Non-Disclosure Agreement
"Confidential Information" shall mean any and all oral, written, visual, and/or other tangible forms of information relating to CSCD and/or its affiliated entities. Every participant shall hold the Confidential Information and shall not disclose such information to any third party without the prior written consent of CSCD.
Summit participants will be added to a WhatsApp group chat and are encouraged to network and debate freely. However, no one is allowed to post or spread conversations in a false light, libel, or defamation. Failure to comply will result in legal actions.
VII. Liability
CSCD will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to any person or property prior, during and after events. CSCD will not be responsible for any belongings that are lost or stolen. Each participant must make provision for his or her own insurance.
During all CSCD events, audio, picture, and video recording are allowed and can be used for press reports and social media. By submitting an application, participants agree to grant the organization permission to use their likeness in publications without payment.
VIII. Miscellaneous
- Participants cannot sue CSCD for injuries or losses. Suing CSCD will result in paying all legal expenses plus up to $200,000 in emotional damages.
- Actions causing libel or defamation will result in a permanent ban from all future CSCD events.
- All types of inappropriate behavior including harassment are strictly prohibited.
- The participant foregoes rights to take legal actions for removal or ban from the platform.
- Should any provision be deemed invalid, this shall not affect the validity of remaining provisions.
- CSCD reserves the right to remove and ban any person from summit events with prior notice.

Privacy and Data Security
CSCD highly prioritizes the privacy and security of visitors' and partners' personal information. While CSCD collaborates with third parties for website features, their privacy policies govern the information provided directly to them. CSCD does not share or sell individual information.
Refund Policy
All refunds are provided as credit vouchers applicable only to future CSCD events.
Refund Eligibility by Category:
FULLY FUNDED / PARTIAL FUNDED DELEGATES
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
SELF-FUNDED DELEGATES
- Full Participation Fee paid: eligible for refund in voucher form only.
- Discounted Participation Fee paid: non-refundable / non-transferable.
- Full fee paid: eligible for CSCD Credit Voucher (CCV) if entire conference fee paid (no installments) AND CCV requested via email at least 30 days before conference start.
CSCD Credit Voucher (CCV)
- Valid for one year from date of issuance.
- Exclusively for use at CSCD events.
- Non-transferable; original recipient only.
- No cash value; excess value carried forward for future use.

Refund Process: Email Contact@thecscd.org with subject: "Refund Request – [Conference Name]". Include full name, order number, reason, and supporting documents.
Additional Policies
- Force Majeure: Refund requests reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Travel Reimbursement (Fully Funded): Submit bank details after event; processed within 4–8 weeks.
- Data Collection: Cookies and web beacons collect operational data. Users can manage preferences in browser.
- Children Under 13: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- Communication: Contact info may be used for requested materials. Opt-out options available.
- Information Sharing: Aggregated demographic data shared with partners under contractual obligations.
- External Links: CSCD is not responsible for external sites linked on our website.
- Updating Info: Contact Contact@thecscd.org to update or deactivate personal information.
- Security: CSCD employs commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information.
- Privacy Changes: Modifications may occur without notice; changes posted on the page.
