1. The contest entry fee is $20 for Knee Deep Club Members and $25 for non-members ($20 entry + $5 non-member fee) and must be submitted with the official contest entry form below. The contest will begin at 5:00 A.M on Saturday, September 19th and will end at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, September 20th.   

  2. Online entries must be received by the Club by Friday, September 18th regardless of the postmark.  In-person entries can be made at either official Knee Deep Club Weigh Station until 8:00 AM., Saturday, September 19th.    No one will be allowed to register after this time.   NO EXCEPTIONS. 

3. The Official Contest Weigh Stations are DOW'S BOAT RENTAL at Nolan's Point and LAKE'S END MARINA in Landing and WEST SHORE MARINE near River Styx Bridge

4. CASH PRIZES will be based on an 80% payback of entry fees for the three (3) heaviest Catfish weighed in for the contest.  

5. BONUS PLAN participants for this contest will have their cash prizes increased by 25%.

6. GIFT CERTIFICATES: The anglers catching the 4th, 5th and 6th heaviest Hybrid Striped Bass will each receive a $20 gift certificate. .  .

7. Top finishers will be based on weight and any ties will be broken by which Hybrid Striped Bass was weighed in first. 

8. A contestant may only win one prize.  If any of the Prizes are not awarded, the prize money will go to the club’s stocking fund.

9. Only Hybrid Striped Bass caught in Lake Hopatcong may be entered.  

10. All persons in a boat must be entered in the contest to qualify for prizes.  Contestants may fish any or all parts of the contest.

11. All fish must be weighed-in during contest hours.  All disputes must be resolved at the time of the weigh-in.  The decision of the Contest Committee will be final and binding.  The Weigh Master has the right to retain, cut open or inspect any fish.  

12. TAKE A KID FISHING: A contestant may enter a child 12 years old or under in this contest for a $5 entry fee.  The child with the heaviest Hybrid Striped Bass will win a rod and reel combo.  Ties will be broken by which Hybrid Striped Bass was weighed in first.

Please note: A 3% convenience fee will be applied to this contest form to cover processing costs.
