The Nutcracker 2026 Casting Agreement

Fees and agreements are due by 5:00pm on Thursday, September 17. Please read each agreement carefully and check the box indicating you agree to the statement therein. Please complete one form per cast member. If there are multiple cast members in your family and you would like to pay the Volunteer Deposit by credit card, please do so on only one form (indicating the proper number of cast members).

Late casting agreement submission will result in $65 penalty fee. NPD will not accept any more late submission after Friday, September 18 at 5:00 PM.

I understand that I will receive credit for the number of hours listed on the volunteer activity that I sign up for. If I am unable to finish the assigned job, I will communicate what did not get done with a staff member. If I choose to donate additional time to get the assigned task done, I understand I will not get additional credit for those hours. If I run out of things to do during my assigned time, I will seek out a staff member and ask for more to do.

MEDICAL RELEASE: I hereby release Northern Plains Ballet, dba Northern Plains Dance; its employees and agents, from any liability arising out of or in any way connected with participation of my son/daughter in the 2025 performances of The Nutcracker. I authorize Northern Plains Dance, its employees and agents, in the event that I cannot be reached at the following telephone number, to transport and admit my child to a local hospital for the purpose of emergency medical treatment. I release said organization, its employees, and agents from any liability incurred for the transportation and admission of my child to a local hospital for emergency treatment.

WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/LIABILITY: I hereby agree to save, hold harmless and indemnify NPD, its officers, directors, managers, officials, trustees, agents, employees or other representatives in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 or any other bacterial or viral illness related to participating in The Nutcracker. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and give up any claim I may have to seek damages, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.
