  • 2026 CAL Summer Speed & Explosion Camp

  • Stop guessing how to get faster. Come build elite, uncatchable speed before the season starts. This summer, we are launching our Feed the Cats Speed Camp. This is not a conditioning camp. We don't run laps, and we don't do punishment cardio. We focus on 100% max velocity, explosive power, and injury prevention to peak your speed.

    Cost: $125 / camper

Open to ALL high school athletes who have been physically active (All track events & all team sports: Football, Soccer, Field Hockey, Basketball, Lacrosse, etc.) This is a neurologically and muscularly intense camp and is not recommended for students who are new to athletics.

    Dates: July 14th – August 7th (4-Week High-Intensity Block)

Friday the 10th will be the Introduction and Testing Day. Our Regular Cycle will begin Tuesday

Days: Tuesday (Max Speed), Thursday (Plyometrics and Explosive Power), Friday (Acceleration)

    Time: 9:00 AM – 10:45AM

Location: Christian Academy School Track/Turf Field & Weight Room

Tracked & Ranked: Everything will be tracked and ranked. The camp will be run as a fun competition among athletes of the same gender. Athletes will also be working to improve their own scores from the beginning of camp to the end.  We will use laser timing gates to clock acceleration and max velocity, measure jumps, record your PRs, and see where you rank on the leaderboard. Rest Days are purposely built in for recovery.

Dual Setup: We will split time between the turf/track for pure speed mechanics and the weight room for explosive force production and plyometric.
