About This Virtual Lab

Discover the science behind skincare in this engaging, hands-on cosmetic science experience! During the Farm to Formula: The Science of the Glow Up Virtual Laboratory Intensive, participants will explore the chemistry of exfoliation, carrier oils, fragrance, ingredient functionality, and cosmetic formulation while creating their own custom sugar scrub. No prior experience is required—just bring your curiosity and be ready to learn! Facilitated by Kelli Bain, incollaboration with Roots of Innovations Inc.

The workshop will be conducted live via Zoom July 22, 2026. Participants will receive the meeting link, login instructions, and additional event information 2 days before the scheduled lab. Please ensure you provide a current email address and phone number during registration so we can send important updates and shipping notifications.

Your $19.99 registration fee helps provide materials, supplies, and digital lab resources while supporting our mission to make chemistry more accessible and help eliminate barriers to hands-on science learning.

Your lab kit will be shipped to the address provided during registration and is expected to arrive priority mail 2-3 days before the event per the registration deadline. Please verify your shipping address before submitting your registration.
