The Bloom Market — Vendor Terms & PoliciesBy submitting the vendor form, selecting a market date, and completing payment, you agree to the following terms and policies for The Bloom Market.Booking Your SpaceVendor spaces are booked on a first come, first served basis.To reserve a space, vendors must complete the vendor form, select their preferred market date or dates, and pay in full. Your space is confirmed once payment has been received.Vendors do not need to be accepted through an application process. However, all vendors, products, displays, and conduct must still follow The Bloom Market’s rules and policies.The Bloom Market reserves the right to cancel a booking, remove a vendor from an event, or refuse future participation if a vendor does not follow these terms.Vendor ProductsThe Bloom Market is for artists, makers, vintage sellers, resellers, collectors, small businesses, food vendors, and community-based vendors.AI-generated art, AI-generated designs, AI-generated prints, or products primarily created using generative AI are not permitted. This includes AI artwork used on prints, stickers, clothing, accessories, digital products, or other merchandise.Vendors must be honest about what they sell. Products cannot be falsely advertised as handmade, vintage, original, or designed by the vendor when that is not accurate.Counterfeit, stolen, illegal, unsafe, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise prohibited items are not allowed.The Bloom Market may require a vendor to remove products that do not follow these rules or do not fit the event.Food vendors are responsible for making sure they have any permits, licences, food-safety requirements, insurance, and approvals needed to sell at the event.Payments, Cancellations, and RefundsVendor fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.All vendor fees are non-refundable.If you cancel for any reason, cannot attend, arrive late, leave early, or do not show up to the event, you will not receive a refund, credit, transfer, or rollover to another market date.Vendor spaces cannot be transferred, resold, shared, or given to another business without written approval from The Bloom Market.If The Bloom Market cancels an event and is unable to reschedule it, vendors will be contacted directly regarding next steps. Any refund, credit, transfer, or other option in that situation is at The Bloom Market’s discretion.If a vendor books a space but is found to be selling prohibited items, including AI-generated art, counterfeit goods, unsafe products, or items that break these policies, The Bloom Market may cancel the booking without a refund.No-shows, repeated cancellations, late cancellations, early pack-up, or failure to follow event policies may affect whether a vendor is allowed to attend future Bloom Market events.Vendor Setup and ResponsibilitiesVendors are responsible for bringing everything they need for their space unless otherwise stated in the event details. This may include tables, chairs, tents, tent weights, displays, signage, payment equipment, extension cords, lighting, bags, cash float, and product protection.Vendors must keep all displays, merchandise, chairs, equipment, and personal belongings inside their assigned vendor space.Walkways, entrances, exits, fire lanes, and neighbouring vendor spaces must remain clear at all times.Vendors are responsible for their own inventory, cash, payment processing, taxes, permits, insurance, and business requirements.The Bloom Market is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unsold merchandise, displays, tents, equipment, cash, or personal belongings.Setup and teardown details will be sent before each event. Vendors must arrive, unload, set up, and pack down within the assigned times.Vendors are expected to remain open for the full advertised market hours. Packing up early without approval may affect eligibility for future events.Outdoor Markets and WeatherOutdoor markets will continue in normal weather conditions, including light rain, wind, heat, or cold, unless conditions are unsafe.Vendors are responsible for preparing for weather and protecting their products, displays, tents, and equipment.All tents must be properly weighted. Stakes may only be used if specifically approved for the event location.The Bloom Market may delay, pause, relocate, modify, or cancel an event due to lightning, severe wind, poor air quality, dangerous weather, emergency conditions, venue restrictions, or other safety concerns.Weather-related cancellations do not automatically guarantee a refund, credit, transfer, or rollover. The Bloom Market will make decisions based on the situation, event costs, safety concerns, and whether the event can be rescheduled.Conduct and Community ExpectationsThe Bloom Market is intended to be a welcoming, respectful, inclusive, and community-focused space.Harassment, discrimination, bullying, threats, theft, aggressive behaviour, excessive intoxication, or disrespect toward shoppers, vendors, staff, volunteers, or venue staff will not be tolerated.Vendors must bring concerns directly to The Bloom Market staff. Vendors may not confront, harass, or publicly target another vendor, attendee, or staff member.Vendors are responsible for cleaning up their own space and removing all garbage, merchandise, displays, and belongings after the event.Any vendor who damages the venue, park, equipment, or another vendor’s property may be responsible for repair or replacement costs.LiabilityBy participating in The Bloom Market, vendors acknowledge that they are attending and operating at their own risk.The Bloom Market, its organizers, staff, volunteers, venue partners, and sponsors are not responsible for injury, illness, theft, damage, lost income, weather-related losses, or other incidents that may happen before, during, or after the event, except where required by law.All vendors agree to follow event instructions, venue rules, safety procedures, and directions from The Bloom Market staff.Policy UpdatesThe Bloom Market may update these terms and policies as needed. Event-specific instructions, vendor emails, venue rules, and site requirements sent before an event are considered part of these terms.Thank you for helping make The Bloom Market a safe, creative, welcoming, and fun space for everyone.
