    The 2027 Enchantment Awards will be held Saturday, April 24, 2027, in Popejoy Hall. The deadline to adjudicate your show is March 27, 2027.

    Registration Deadline

    January 15, 2027 or two months prior to your opening date, whichever is earlier. 

    Eligible shows: All shows must be on the approved list published by the Jimmy Awards. This list will be updated throughout the year. If the show you want to do is not on the list, we can petition for that title on your behalf. Ask early, though, and have a backup plan. The review panel only meets quartlery.

    Generally speaking, any standard or school edition/version of a show is eligible. (There are exceptions.) The following editions/versions are not eligible: 101 Collection (Middle School Editions), Broadway Junior, G2K (Getting to Know Series), Young Performers Edition, Young@Part, or concert versions.

  • Registration Process

    The full process for registration is outlined below. Before you register, we recommend reading the overview of the program on our website.

    • First, register your show with this form.
      1. You can register one or two casts of the same show. The registration fee is $225 per cast.
        1. The casts must perform as distinct units in separate performances.
        2. If you cannot guartantee distinct performances for each cast, we cannot guarantee that we can schedule adjudicators to see all cast members, which would affect their eligibility for our program.
      2. Upload your signed licensing agreement below or email it to us when you have it. We are required to check proof of licensing.
      3. Pay for your registration with a credit card now or indicate how you will pay for registration later. You can also request a quote if your school requires that. 

    • Second, nominate cast members.

      1. Once you have registered your show, a link to the Cast Nomination form will be emailed from nmhsmta@gmail.com or noreply@formresponse.com.
      2. Nominate eligible cast members once you have cast your show.

    • Your show is fully registered when we have your completed Show Registration and Cast Nomination forms and have received your registration fee.

    • Students you nominate are required to register. We do not charge students to participate. Any student not wishing to participate must complete the first part of the registration form to tell us that. 
      1. Tell your students to look for Student Registration Forms sent directly to their email from nmhsmta@gmail.com or noreply@formresponse.com after you nominate them. Remind them to check their spam folders.
      2. Be sure to tell your students that they must complete their registration forms no later than two weeks prior to your opening night.

  • Since your show is not on the Jimmy Awards approved show list, we need to review a few things with you. You will still be allowed to register for the Enchantment Awards. However, your show must ultimately be approved by the Jimmy Awards to be included.

    If you would like us to request your preferred show be added to the Jimmy Awards list, please complete the information below. We will contact you to discuss the process and review your options with you.

  • Retention of Rental Materials

    Please inform the royalty company who granted you the rights for your musical that you are participating in a regional awards program for the Jimmy Awards. Ask to retain your rental materials so that you have music if you are chosen as a finalist for one of our three production awards and perform during the Enchantment Awards. Typically, they will grant that permission.

  • How many casts are you registering?*

  • Each eligible cast member must have scores from three different judges. We will assign a unique trio of judges for each discrete cast's performance.

    • If you intermix casts, please make sure there are at least two performances where the two casts perform as distinct units so we can guarantee we will have three scores for each nominated student. We cannot adjudicate mixed cast performances.
    • If a cast member plays the same role in both casts, they will only be adjudicated in Cast 1.

    Please doublecheck all dates and times. We will use these entries to assign adjudicators. If the dates are wrong and the adjudicators cannot do their work, your show and all cast members will be disqualified.

    The Jimmy Awards sets the criteria for eligibility for Best Actor and Best Actress nominees. We set the criteria for eligibility for our new Outstanding Performance by an Actor and Outstanding Performance by an Actress nominees. Please see all awards described on our website.
