  • What is Taste Urban Atlanta?

    Most people think that Taste Urban is a food event...

    Taste Urban is actually a ‘Sampling’ of all types of Black owned businesses around Atlanta. Yes, the food and drink companies are a major draw but attendees will see and do business with all other companies there.  We want all types of companies represented at Taste Urban Atlanta.

     

    These events are open to all types of Black owned companies or Black represented companies. Here are some examples:

    Product Based: personal, business, home, etc.  and any other product based companies. 
    Service: accountants, attorneys, bankers, insurances, and health/wellness and any other service based companies.
    Art: canvas, print, photo, sculptures, etc.
    Non-Profit: any. Must have 501c3(6) status
    Food/Drink: caterers, bakers, chefs, etc.
    Liquor/Wine: bourbon, vodka, etc.

  •  Eat & Shop Black Vendor Showcase 

    (3pm - 9pm)

    Exhibitors will be hosting a joint 'Open House' event. You will be inviting people to come celebrate your business. We will have 50+ exhibitors that will be  responsible for inviting at least 10 people each to the event. Your 10 people will come for you, but the other 490+ people will see and shop with you. This is the power of collaboration. 

  •  Black Owned Wine & Liquor Tastings

    (5pm - 9pm)

    This event is to showcase Black owned wine & liquor companies. We are also looking for non-alcohol beverage companies, food, artist, and products that pair well with night life (cigars, fedora hats, etc.) 

  •  Exhibitor Registration

    This form is for you to submit your company to be an exhibitor at the Taste Urban Atlanta Event. Submission does not guarantee approval. Registrations will be reviewed and approval/denial will be communicated within 48 hours via email with acceptance/setup instructions or denial reason and refund.

    Policies:

    • Liquor Exhibitors:
      • You will provide samples/tastings of your product
      • Based on GA law, you can not sell bottles or cocktails at the event
    • Wine Exhibitors:
      • You will provide samples/tastings of your product
      • Based on GA law, you can sell bottles of your product at the event
    • Savory & Sweet Exhibitors:
      • Can sell food
      • Can not cook on premises
      • Plate price max is $7 (small plate/tapas style)
    • Standard Exhibitor Tables:
      • are exclusively for small businesses that are Black owned or Black represented (if the company is non-black owned but one of the attending representitives is black, that is acceptable)
    • Corporate Exhibitor Tables:
      • can participate but must come in at a feature/sponsor level
      • Corporations must have at least one Black representative present at the event.
    • Exhibitor Overlap: 
      • only 2 companies per product/service will be accepted to exhibit. (example: once 2 candle companies has been accepted, no other candle companies will be allowed)
      • If a company has 2 or more main products/services that fall into 2 of our 1/company categories, said company must choose to offer only 1 of those products. (example: if you company offers tax services and insurance services, you will have to choose only 1 service to promote at the event or purchase 2 tables since tax services and insurance services are 2 different categories reserved for 2 different companies.) 
    • Table Sharing of any kind is not permitted

    'Community Referral Program'

     

    Here's how it works:

    1. Purchase your exhibitor table.

    2. You will get a custom discount code which will save an attendee $5. Example: It reduces all attendee tickets by $5. (example: a $35 ticket becomes $30.)

    3. Use this flyer/code and invite your following to come see you at the event.

    4. Every attendee that uses your code, the $30 they pay will be rebated back to you, up to your exhibitor price.

    5. Refer another exhibitor/sponsor, receive a referral fee of 20% of their purchase price.

    6. After the event, we will let you know how much your code brought in. You can use it as a credit for a future event with us.
