Building Blocks of the Teapot

Class Description:
This class is meant for students who are already familiar with wheel-throwing or have taken at least one wheel-throwing class previously. In this class, we will practice forms that require the same skills needed to make a teapot including mugs, bottleneck vases, and covered jars. You will spend the last few weeks of class using those same skills to create your own teapot. You will get messy in this class, so please dress accordingly.
About the instructor: Rebecca Seidl
Rebecca began her pottery journey in 2016 in Athens, GA. In 2018, she started teaching beginners. Pottery is a way for Rebecca to connect more deeply with herself and with nature, and she loves sharing this with her students. She believes that pottery can be a very healing medium, and that everyone can benefit from a creative outlet. Rebecca's pottery (Smallest Sprout Ceramics) focuses on functional work, like mugs, bowls, planters, and vases.
