The club membership term runs from January 1^st to December 31^st of each calendar year.

HEREIN REFERRED TO AS RELEASOR, TO THE SOUTH HAVEN ROD & GUN CLUB, ITS OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES, THEIR HEIRS,
ADMINISTRATORS AND EXECUTORS, HEREIN REFERRED TO AS RELEASEES.
I, the undersigned, Releaser, being of lawful age, in consideration of being permitted to participate in the shooting sports at the
South Haven Rod & Gun Club., do for myself, my spouse, legal representatives, heirs, and assigns, hereby release, waive and forever
discharge the South Haven Rod & Gun Club, its agencies or departments, its officers, agents, service members and employees in
their official and personal capacities, their heirs, administrators and executors, from any and all liability for any and all loss or
damage, and from any and every claim, demand, action or right of action, of whatever kind of nature, either in law or equity,
arising from or by reason or death, or any bodily injury or personal injuries known or unknown, or property damage resulting or
to result from any incident which may occur during my participation in the South Haven Rod & Gun Club or any activities in
connection with the South Haven Rod & Gun Club, whether caused in whole or in part by the Release's or otherwise.
I HEREBY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE DUE TO THE
NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE WHILE AT THE SOUTH HAVEN ROD & GUN CLUB, WHILE SHOOTING, OFFICIATING,
WORKING, SPECTATING, OR FOR ANY PURPOSE PARTICIPATING AT THE SOUTH HAVEN ROD & GUN CLUB. I AGREE THAT THIS
RELEASE CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN MYSELF AND THE SOUTH HAVEN ROD & GUN CLUB AND THE
TERMS OF THIS RELEASE ARE CONTRACTUAL AND NOT A MERE RECITAL, AND THE SAME SHALL CONTINUE IN FORCE AND BE
APPLICABLE TO ALL EVENTS I ATTEND WHICH ARE CONDUCTED BY THE SOUTH HAVEN ROD & GUN CLUB UNLESS REVOKED
BYME IN A WRITING SERVED UPON THE SOUTH HAVEN ROD & GUN CLUB BY CERTIFIED MAIL AT LEAST TEN (10) DAYS PRIOR
TOTHE DATE UPON WHICH SUCH REVOCATION SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
I agree that this Release Agreement is intended to be broad and inclusive as permitted by law and that if any portion hereof is held
invalid, the balance hereof will, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RELEASE
AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE TERMS. I EXECUTE THE SAME VOLUNTARILY AND WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF ITS SIGNIFICANCE.

In accepting membership to the South Haven Rod & Gun Club, I agree to abide by the Club's Bylaws, Rules, Orientation, and Standard Operating
Procedures. I also agree to comply with all Federal, State, and Local Firearm / Wildlife laws while using the Club's facilities. I also understand
that I am responsible for any guests that I may bring to the South Haven Rod & Gun Club property.

Anyone who uses a firearm has a responsibility to themselves and others to use the firearm safely.

• ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FIREARM POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.
• TREAT ALL FIREARMS AS IF THEY ARE LOADED.
• KEEP YOUR TRIGGER FINGER OUTSIDE THE TRIGGER GUARD AND OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO FIRE.
• BE CERTAIN OF YOUR TARGET, YOUR LINE OF FIRE, AND WHAT LIES BEYOND YOUR TARGET.
• ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FIREARM POINTED DOWN RANGE.
• ALWAYS WEAR APPROPRIATE EYE AND HEARING PROTECTION.

By signing the application on the first page, you understand these rules along with the Waiver of Liability and agree to follow the basic range rules and conduct yourself safely and respectfully. Anyone who violates Range Safety / Range Rules or acts with disregard for fellow members, club officers, or visitors will be denied access to the SHRGC or property.

1. Complete the membership application, including the type of membership and personal information.

2. Mail or turn the application in (enclosed in an envelope) along with a check or cash to the SHRGC (68611 8th Ave., South Haven, MI 49090)

Note: New membership applicants must include the initiation fee along with the dues.

3. If received, 7 days prior to a meeting, your name will be read at the next membership meeting, which are held on the 2^nd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. and voted on by the membership at the following monthly meeting.

4. You must attend an orientation session that starts sharply at 6:00 p.m., before the regular membership meetings.
