We are delighted that you are entering Wildflowers & Wonderment, a special fall exhibition celebrating the beauty, color, and inspiration of wildflowers. Hosted at Habitat Plants+Coffee, this unique venue will invite both McKinney residents and visitors to enjoy their favorite coffee while exploring an inspiring collection of original artwork.
Conditions of Entry
- Entry fees are non-refundable for any reason.
- Only original 2D artwork is eligible for entry.
- Artwork must not exceed 16" × 16" (including frame, if framed). This size requirement is firm, and no exceptions will be made.
- Artists may submit up to three artworks for consideration; however, a maximum of two artworks will be accepted into the exhibition.
- The entry fee is $25 per artwork for current Art Club of McKinney members.
- The entry fee is $34 per artwork for non-members.
- By entering the exhibition, artists agree to comply with all requirements outlined in the official exhibition prospectus. The prospectus can be accessed here.

Judging occurs in two phases. The initial judging will take place via digital images from August. 1-Oct.15, 2026. During this time, the juror will select the artwork to be accepted into the in-person exhibit. All artists whose work is accepted into the in-person exhibition will be notified by October 21, 2026. All artwork accepted for the in-person show MUST BE hand delivered on Thursday evening, November 5, 2026 to the venue for the art exhibition between the hours of 5:00pm-7:00pm. Prior to the November 7th reception and awards ceremony, the juror will view the exhibit in person to select the award-winning artwork and ribbons will be hung. Winners will be announced at the closing reception Saturday November 7th, 2026 at 6:30 pm. The opening reception will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:30pm. We look forward to showcasing your artwork in this celebration of creativity, community, and the natural beauty of wildflowers.
