Acknowledgment: I confirm that my student is at least 15 years old, is a legal resident of New Mexico, and is authorized to participate in classroom and behind-the-wheel driver education with Best Price Driving School. I acknowledge that all the information is current and correct. I authorize Best Price Driving School to teach my student driver education and behind-the-wheel lessons.

Health acknowledgment: I certify that the health information provided is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that I am responsible for informing Best Price Driving School of any health condition, medication, accommodation need, or change in health status that may affect the student's ability to safely participate in classroom instruction or behind-the-wheel lessons. I understand that Best Price Driving School will not disclose student health information except in emergency situations.

• Payments are due by the first day of class. The registration must be submitted to reserve your student's seat in class.
• Attend class on Day 1 and bring proof of birth date, such as a birth certificate, ID with date of birth, or school transcript with date of birth.
• Referral cards (TAN CARD) are distributed on Day 3 of class. No refunds after this point.
• Certificate of Completion (BLUE card) will be given to each student after completing 30 hours of classroom instruction AND 7 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons.

Students enrolled in Best Price Driving School's 37-hour driver education course are expected to arrive on time, participate respectfully, follow instructor directions, complete all required coursework, and demonstrate safe, responsible behavior during classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction. Students should come prepared to learn, ask questions when needed, avoid distractions, and treat instructors, classmates, vehicles, and training materials with respect. Students may bring their own snacks or drinks to class. Students are allowed to use quiet fidgets.

Best Price Driving School is pleased to offer a comprehensive 37-hour driver education program. The program is designed for students who wish to learn how to drive and practice safe driving behind the wheel. Students must sign in on the attendance sheet for each assigned class date. Each course consists of 30 total hours of in-person classroom instruction and 7 hours of behind-the-wheel lessons. Students are required to attend all instructional hours and drive times to successfully complete the program. During the third day of class, each student will receive one referral card that allows them to obtain their learner's permit. Full participation is mandatory. To earn a Certificate of Completion from Best Price Driving School, students must achieve a score of 70% or higher on the in-class exam. Each student is allocated 1 calendar year to complete the driver education course and driving lessons. If the student fails to complete the required coursework and driving within this timeframe, they will be required to repeat the process and repay all fees.

Students are expected to arrive punctually for each session. In the event of an absence, the parent or guardian must inform the Best Price Driving School instructor. If a student misses 3 or more consecutive sessions, they will be withdrawn from the course and required to re-enroll later; no refund will be issued. In cases of misconduct, including but not limited to raising voices, using offensive language, physical aggression, or damage to school property, the instructor will notify the student's parent or guardian and ask the student to leave the class session. The Best Price Driving School instructor will complete a formal incident report within 24 hours. A copy of the incident report may be emailed to the appropriate school contact to ensure communication regarding student safety. The student may return to the scheduled class if the student can follow classroom rules. If the instructor suspects that a student is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the parent or guardian will be called to pick up the student, and the student will be asked to leave class until free of any drugs or alcohol. Students are required to pick up their trash and are responsible for their personal items brought to class. Best Price Driving School is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or missing personal items. Best Price Driving School does not have a lost and found. Students are not allowed to use cell phones, headphones, laptops, or other electronic devices in the classroom without prior approval from Best Price Driving School. In an emergency or for medical needs, the student may use their cell phone when it is safe to do so. If the student needs to take a phone call during class, they may step into the lobby area.

Each class day, students will receive a 10-minute break for every hour of instruction. During this break, students may use their phones if needed. Students must inform a staff member if they intend to leave the classroom or the premises at any time for any reason. Once a student leaves school property, instructors, drivers, and other staff members are no longer accountable for their safety, decisions, or well-being. Students are encouraged to bring their own snacks or beverages to class. Students are not permitted to order DoorDash, Uber Eats, or other food delivery services during class time. Food deliveries disrupt instruction, distract students, and disrupt the learning environment for the entire class. Students should bring any snacks or beverages needed before class begins or use approved break times as directed by the instructor. Students are also responsible for disposing of their trash.

Students are required to follow all school policies and procedures regarding behavior and emergencies and to be respectful of all teachers' property. Best Price Driving School is not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken items in the classroom or for students' personal items. All student personal property remains their responsibility before and after school hours. Best Price Driving School is not responsible for transporting students to or from class and driving lesson appointments. All transportation must be arranged by families at their convenience.

Best Price Driving School collects all payments for the 37-hour driver education program. Refunds are not available after the referral card has been issued, after a student has begun attending class, or after any portion of the program services has been provided, including classroom instruction, scheduled drive times, completed drive times, or materials issued to the student. Fees may also be non-refundable for missed classes, missed driving appointments, late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to complete the program within the required timeframe. We understand that unexpected life events may occur, and a student may be moved to a different class when appropriate and when space is available. Any request to transfer to another class or to review a refund concern must be submitted as soon as possible and approved by the Best Price Driving School Program Director, Madison Selleck. Approved refunds, if any, may be reduced by administrative, processing, materials, scheduling, or service fees already incurred.

Your student has the opportunity and right to transfer to another driving school for any reason at any time. The parent or guardian must contact the Traffic Safety Center for approval. No refund will be issued if the parent or legal guardian chooses not to continue with Best Price Driving School after the 3^rd day of class has been completed.

Classroom instructional time missed by a student may be made up during subsequent sessions to ensure all required learning objectives are completed. If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, the parent/guardian is required to call Best Price Driving School to request a seat to make up the missed days in class. There is no fee for the student to make up a class time or transfer to another class session. Students have 12 months (1 year) from the first day of class to make up any missed classes or driving lessons. If the student doesn't complete this in the one-year time frame, the student will be required to retake the entire course at the full cost of the current prices for the 37-hour driver education program.

Each student will participate in 7 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons after completing the required classroom instruction. All driving lessons will be conducted in a certified Best Price Driving School vehicle under the supervision of a certified driving instructor. Lessons will begin and end at Best Price Driving School, located at 7421 Menaul Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Best Price Driving School does not provide transportation to or from driving lessons. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring the student arrives on time, is picked up on time, and brings their valid learner's permit to every scheduled lesson. If a student arrives without their learner's permit, the lesson will be canceled, the student will be considered a no-show, and a $50 no-show fee will be applied. Students must wear a seat belt at all times while inside the vehicle and must keep phones and other electronic devices put away unless directed by the instructor or needed for an emergency. Students must wear secure, closed-toe shoes suitable for driving. Flip-flops, sandals, slides, open- toe shoes, or any footwear that may interfere with safe vehicle operation are not permitted. If a student arrives with improper footwear, the lesson may be canceled, a $50 no-show fee may be applied, and the lesson will need to be rescheduled. Students may not eat, vape, smoke, use alcohol, use drugs, or bring unsafe distractions into the training vehicle.

The instructor has full authority to determine whether road, weather, traffic, student behavior, health, alertness, or vehicle conditions are safe for the lesson to continue. If a student appears unable to safely participate due to illness, fatigue, distraction, unsafe behavior, missing documents, improper footwear, suspected impairment, or another safety concern, the instructor may delay, reschedule, or end the lesson.

Students may schedule additional driving lessons beyond the standard program for an additional fee of $70 per lesson. These supplementary lessons are intended to provide additional practice, strengthen driving skills, or help students prepare for the driving examination. To ensure availability and proper scheduling, each lesson must be reserved. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide proper notice may result in no- show or late-cancellation fees. This policy supports efficient scheduling for instructors and fairness among all students. Important note: Best Price Driving School does not offer MVD services. The written exam is only offered by a state-issued MVD. Best Price Driving School cannot enter, alter, or change any written exam scores or road exam scores for any student at any time, including past students and future students. If your student is unable to operate the vehicle before the lesson due to illness, injury, or a personal car accident, please call or text Best Price Driving School to reschedule. Rescheduling must be completed at least 24 hours before the lesson time, or a $50 no-show/cancellation fee will be applied to the student's account. The student may not schedule another lesson until this fee is paid in full. If your student arrives without their permit, the lesson will be canceled, and a cancellation fee will be charged. If the instructor or management suspects the student is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the parent or guardian will be contacted, the student will be asked to reschedule the lesson, and a $50 fee may apply.
