Registration Fee: $25.00 for RETURNING players (played during spring season) and $40.00 for NEW players (8U-14U). Registration fees can be paid by cash, check, or credit card. A convenience fee will be added to credit card payments.
Registration Fundraiser: We will be selling 9" Mums from Smuckers Gardens to help offset registration fees. Order forms and money are due no later than Friday, September 4.
A 9" mum will be sold for $11 each, with $2.50 from each plant sold going towards a player's registration fee. Any registration fee that is not covered by the fundraiser is to be paid by the player's family.
For example: A player sells 10 items (profit is $2.50/item * 10 items = $25.00), therefore the registration fee would be paid in full. If the player sold 5 items (profit is $2.50/item * 5 items = $12.50) then the player's family is responsible for the remaining $12.50 ($25 registration - $12.50 fundraiser profit = $12.50 not covered by the fundraiser).
Concession Stand Check: There will be a $75 concession stand check due this season. This check will be held (not deposited). Parents must sign up to work a shift in the concession stand for each child they have in the league in order to have this check returned. At the end of the concession stand shift(s), a refund check will be given to the parent. The concession stand is scheduled to be opened during ALL home games. Another family member or friend may serve as your delegate. In the case of a delegate, the check will be returned to the person who paid it. Children under 10 years old are NOT permitted in the concession stand. If a concession shift for each child has not been completed then the concession stand check will be deposited as a donation to HGSL.
In order for our program to function properly, we need the help of each and every parent/guardian. Our field maintenance takes a huge amount of work by many people. Our concession stand helps feed many families on tight schedules throughout the season and supplements our league's income. A signup genius will be sent out for parents to sign up via email once game schedules have been determined.
