Tuesday field trips are open to everyone—you do not need to be part of our Thursday classes. All are welcome to join! These field trips are part of our 2026–2027 Tuesday events. Each Tuesday event has its own individual registration. Registration for each event be first-come, first-served. Please note that each event may have a registration deadline (usually about one week prior) and may have different enrollment minimums/maximums or age requirements. All event details—such as cost, location, and time—will be provided for each specific Tuesday when you register. **How Tuesday Event Registration Works** Registration is required for each individual Tuesday event. Each student must have their own registration form for each event they plan to attend. If you have more than one student attending, please complete a separate registration form for each student. Adults, parents, guardians, and non-participating siblings who will be attending with that student may be listed on the student’s registration form when applicable. Please register only for the events your family plans to attend. Some events have limited space, minimum participation requirements, maximum group sizes, or payment deadlines. Please register only for the events your family plans to attend. Some events have minimum numbers that must be met, and some may have limited space. Payment details and deadlines will be listed with each event. Your spot is not guaranteed until registration and payment are complete, when payment is required. Parents/guardians must remain with their children during these events and are responsible for transportation to and from. Some locations may have additional parking fees, gift shops, optional activities, or food available for purchase;we have tried to note these where applicable. Event details are subject to change if the location updates pricing, schedule, group requirements, or availability.

I understand that participation in Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group activities, Tuesday field trips, group outings, service projects, and related events involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, physical activity, walking, hiking, uneven ground, stairs, water activities, boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, tubing, swimming, skating, outdoor environments, weather exposure, heat, cold, mud, insects, animals, food exposure, cooking or food-related activities, museums, farms, parks, trails, historic sites, public facilities, woodworking, tools, demonstrations, transportation, parking areas, and other known and unknown conditions associated with group activities and off-site field trips.

I understand that Tuesday field trips and events may take place at a variety of public, private, state, local, nonprofit, commercial, recreational, educational, farm, museum, park, aquatic, or third-party locations. I understand that each location may have its own rules, risks, safety requirements, staff, equipment, facilities, terrain, visitor policies, and separate waiver or release requirements.

I understand and agree that transportation to, from, and between Tuesday field trips and event locations is the responsibility of each participating family. Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group does not provide transportation, arrange carpools, supervise travel, or assume responsibility for transportation-related risks, delays, accidents, injuries, or property damage.

I understand and agree that a parent or legal guardian must remain present and responsible for supervising their own child(ren) during Tuesday field trips and events unless otherwise specifically stated in writing. I understand that Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group is not a drop-off program for Tuesday field trips and events.

I voluntarily assume all risks on behalf of myself and my participating child(ren), including risks of injury, illness, allergic reaction, property damage, or other harm, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, arising out of or related to participation in Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group activities, Tuesday field trips, group outings, service projects, optional add-on activities, and use of any event location or premises.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and agree to hold harmless Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group, its organizers, instructors, volunteers, assistants, representatives, participating families, venue partners, property owners, host locations, and third-party activity providers from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, injuries, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in classes, activities, Tuesday field trips, group outings, service projects, optional activities, transportation to or from events, or use of any event location or premises, except to the extent caused by gross negligence, willful misconduct, or as otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

I understand that some activities may be optional and may involve additional risks or additional fees, including but not limited to kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, tubing, swimming, skating, hiking, climbing, animal encounters, tool use, woodworking, demonstrations, or other recreational activities. I understand that participation in optional activities is at my discretion and responsibility as the parent/legal guardian.

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participating child(ren) listed and have authority to execute this agreement on their behalf.

                            Emergency Medical Authorization

In the event of an illness, injury, allergic reaction, accident, or other emergency involving my child(ren) during Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group classes, activities, Tuesday field trips, group outings, service projects, or related events, I authorize Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group, its organizers, instructors, volunteers, or designated representatives to seek emergency medical assistance for my child(ren) if deemed necessary.

I understand that Tuesday field trips and events are parent-transport, parent-attend, and parent-supervised activities. However, I understand that an emergency may occur at a time when I am temporarily unavailable, unreachable, separated from the group, unable to respond, or otherwise unable to provide immediate direction.

I authorize Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group to contact emergency medical services, request first aid or medical assistance, and/or permit transportation by ambulance or other emergency medical personnel if deemed necessary. I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact me and/or my listed emergency contact as soon as possible.

I understand and agree that I am financially responsible for any medical care, emergency services, ambulance transportation, treatment, medication, or related expenses provided for my child(ren).

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) listed and have authority to grant this authorization.

                            Health, Allergies, and Hands-On Materials

I agree to disclose at registration, and to promptly update Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group if anything changes, any allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, medications, behavioral needs, sensory needs, mobility concerns, accommodation requests, or other health or safety information relevant to my child(ren)’s participation.

I understand that Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group will make reasonable efforts to support disclosed needs when possible, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free, exposure-free, illness-free, injury-free, or risk-free environment.

I understand that Kindred Spirits classes, activities, Tuesday field trips, group outings, service projects, and related events may involve shared supplies, food, cooking ingredients, snacks, restaurants, food vendors, natural materials, farm environments, animals, insects, outdoor conditions, weather exposure, water activities, hiking, uneven ground, public facilities, museums, parks, tools, woodworking, demonstrations, physical activity, and third-party locations with their own rules, materials, and environmental conditions.

I understand that parents/guardians are responsible for determining whether each activity is appropriate for their child(ren)’s health, safety, abilities, allergies, dietary needs, sensory needs, and comfort level. I understand that parents/guardians are responsible for providing any needed medications, allergy plans, emergency supplies, adaptive items, snacks, food alternatives, water, sunscreen, insect repellent, weather-appropriate clothing, or other supports needed by their child(ren).

Children who are ill, contagious, feverish, vomiting, experiencing diarrhea, or otherwise not well enough to participate safely should not attend Kindred Spirits classes, activities, Tuesday field trips, or events. I agree to keep my child(ren) home when illness or symptoms may place others at risk or prevent safe participation.

                            Outdoor and Weather Acknowledgment

I understand that some Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group classes, activities, Tuesday field trips, group outings, service projects, and related events may take place outdoors or partially outdoors at farms, parks, trails, wooded areas, historic sites, recreational facilities, aquatic centers, playgrounds, public spaces, and other off-site or third-party locations.

I understand that outdoor and off-site activities may involve uneven terrain, hills, stairs, trails, gravel, mud, holes, rocks, roots, wooded or natural areas, insects, plants, animals, water, streams, lakes, ponds, sun exposure, heat, cold, rain, wind, changing weather, slippery surfaces, and other environmental conditions.

I understand that these outdoor and weather-related conditions carry inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, insect bites or stings, allergic reactions, overheating, dehydration, weather exposure, minor injuries, or other harm. I voluntarily accept these risks on behalf of my child(ren) and myself.

I understand that parents/guardians are responsible for checking the weather, dressing their child(ren) appropriately, bringing needed items such as water, sunscreen, insect repellent, jackets, rain gear, towels, water shoes, extra clothing, or other weather-appropriate supplies, and deciding whether conditions are appropriate for their family’s participation.

I understand that Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel an activity due to unsafe weather, site conditions, or other concerns, but that weather and outdoor conditions can change quickly and cannot be guaranteed.

Tuesday Field Trip Supervision and Parent Attendance Policy

Kindred Spirits Tuesday field trips, group outings, service projects, and related events are not drop-off or semi-drop-off activities. A parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult designated by the family must remain present and responsible for supervising their child(ren) for the entire event unless otherwise specifically stated in writing.

Parents/guardians are responsible for transporting their own child(ren) to, from, and between event locations. Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group does not provide transportation, arrange carpools, or assume responsibility for travel to or from Tuesday events.

Parents/guardians are responsible for their child(ren)’s behavior, safety, participation, food and allergy needs, bathroom assistance, personal belongings, and compliance with the rules of each location. This includes museums, parks, farms, public facilities, private venues, state parks, aquatic centers, restaurants, trails, historic sites, and any other third-party locations.

Some Tuesday events may include optional add-on activities, such as hiking, Junior Ranger books, lunch stops, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming, skating, playground time, farm activities, gift shops, or other activities. Participation in optional activities is at the discretion and responsibility of each parent/guardian.

Students may not be left unattended at any Tuesday field trip, group outing, event location, parking area, restaurant, park, trail, or optional activity. If a parent/guardian chooses to leave before the event has ended, they must take their child(ren) with them unless another responsible adult has agreed to supervise them.

Kindred Spirits organizers, instructors, volunteers, and event leaders may help coordinate group details, registration, payments, schedules, and communication, but they are not responsible for providing individual supervision or childcare during Tuesday events.

                            Behavior Expectations

We strive to keep Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group a safe, respectful, welcoming, and positive environment where all students and families can learn, participate, and enjoy their time together.

Students are expected to follow directions from Kindred Spirits organizers, instructors, volunteers, activity leaders, venue staff, rangers, guides, and other supervising adults. Students are expected to participate safely, treat others with kindness and respect, use materials, tools, animals, equipment, facilities, and property appropriately, and follow the rules of each class, activity, field trip, event location, or third-party venue.

For Tuesday field trips and group outings, parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising their own child(ren), helping them follow expectations, and addressing behavior concerns as needed. This includes behavior in parking areas, museums, parks, farms, trails, restaurants, aquatic centers, historic sites, state parks, public facilities, and optional add-on activities.

Unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, destructive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior may result in a student being asked to take a break, sit out of an activity, remain with their parent/guardian, leave the activity area, or leave the event entirely. This may include, but is not limited to, running away from the group, refusing to follow safety directions, misusing tools or equipment, mistreating animals, damaging property, physical aggression, bullying, repeated disruption, unsafe behavior near water, trails, roads, vehicles, tools, animals, or other hazards, or behavior that interferes with the safety or experience of others.

If a student is not able to participate safely or appropriately, Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group may require the parent/guardian to remove the student from the class, activity, field trip, or event. Removal due to unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may occur without refund.

                            Refund, Cancellation, and Chargeback Policy

All registration fees, field trip fees, event fees, class fees, and activity fees are non-refundable once submitted unless otherwise specifically stated in writing for a particular event.

By registering, families understand that a student’s or family’s space is being reserved immediately and that Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group may begin incurring costs in advance, including but not limited to venue fees, group reservations, staffing, supplies, planning time, facility use, tickets, materials, deposits, and payments to third-party locations or activity providers.

For that reason, no refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes, missed field trips, withdrawals, schedule conflicts, illness, transportation issues, late arrival, change of mind, failure to attend, or inability to participate after registration has been submitted.

For Tuesday field trips and group outings, some fees may be paid directly to third-party venues, parks, museums, farms, activity providers, or event locations. Families are responsible for reviewing and following any refund, cancellation, ticketing, weather, or rescheduling policies set by those locations. Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group is not responsible for refunding payments made directly to outside venues or third-party providers.

If Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group cancels a class, field trip, event, or program, a make-up option, transfer, account credit, partial credit, or refund may be offered at the group’s discretion, depending on the circumstances, venue policies, prepaid expenses, and whether funds have already been committed or paid to a third-party location.

If a third-party venue cancels, closes, changes its schedule, changes its pricing, or cancels a program due to weather, staffing, safety, low enrollment, or other circumstances outside of Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group’s control, any refund, credit, or rescheduling option will depend on the venue’s policy and the funds available after any non-refundable expenses.

By completing registration, the parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees to this refund and cancellation policy and agrees not to dispute or charge back properly authorized charges except in cases of fraud or billing error. Any chargeback or payment dispute filed in violation of this agreement may result in loss of future registration privileges and collection efforts for amounts owed, to the extent permitted by law.

                            Field Trips and Off-Site Activities

I understand that some Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group classes, Tuesday field trips, group outings, meet-ups, service projects, or special activities may take place at off-site or third-party locations. These locations may include, but are not limited to, parks, farms, museums, historic sites, public facilities, private venues, aquatic centers, recreational facilities, restaurants, trails, state parks, nature centers, and other community locations.

I understand that off-site activities may involve additional inherent risks related to travel, parking areas, unfamiliar environments, public spaces, outdoor conditions, animals, food, equipment, tools, terrain, water, weather, crowds, venue-specific rules, and other known or unknown conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, transportation to, from, and between off-site activities is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group does not provide transportation, arrange carpools, or assume responsibility for transportation-related risks.

I agree that my family will follow all rules, waivers, safety requirements, instructions, and policies of the host venue, activity provider, park, museum, farm, facility, ranger, guide, instructor, or other location staff.

For Tuesday field trips and group outings, a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult designated by the family must remain present and responsible for supervising their child(ren) for the entire event unless otherwise specifically stated in writing. Kindred Spirits organizers, instructors, and volunteers may coordinate group details, but they are not responsible for providing individual supervision or childcare during Tuesday events.

For any activity that is specifically listed as drop-off or semi-drop-off, parent/guardian supervision remains the parent’s responsibility until the student is checked in directly with the instructor or supervising adult, and again immediately upon check-out.
