    Our 2026 Summer Bocce Season begins in July!

    Seven-game season every Wednesday, July 8th to August 26th 

    Rain dates for canceled games will be played the following Tuesday. 

    Registration now open for teams until July 3
     To ensure your spot, registration fees must be paid by Friday, July 3.
    There are 24 team spaces allotted. 
    NO EXCEPTIONS!

    $150 Per Team Player • $600 Per Team of 4
    $150 for alternates registered with a team
    Price per player includes award dinner on Wednesday, June 24th 

    Substitutes must be a current registered alternate, or current season bocce player.

    • Bocce Rules 
    • ALL PLAYERS MUST REVIEW THE BOCCE SEASON RULES & INFORMATION:

      • Registration: Registration will close once 24 teams have been registered and/or by Friday, July 3rd. Each team/player’s registration confirms that team/player’s availability to participate during the scheduled game times.
      • Season Schedule: Regular season games will be held on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM–8:30 PM, running from Wednesday, July 8th through Wednesday, August 12th. Playoff Games will be held Wednesday, August 19th.
      • Team Assignments: Teams will be assigned a number, and a computerized system will be used to determine matchups and scheduling.
      • Game Start Time: Games begin promptly at 6:00 PM. A 15-minute grace period will be provided for late arrivals.
      • PlayerRequirements:  Teams must have four registered players; however, play may begin with fewer than four players.Additional players may join once they arrive. A minimum of 3 players is required to start the game.
      • Substitutes & Make-Up Games: Players are responsible for arranging substitutes when needed. Teams are expected to work together to coordinate and reschedule any make-up games. Substitutes must be members in good standing and registered as Summer Bocce players from another league team.
      • Rain Policy: Rain cancellations will be rescheduled for the next day, Thursdays.
      • Game Format: Each game will end when the first team reaches 10 points.
      • Playoffs: The top eight teams in the standings will advance to the playoffs. In the event of a tie, rankings will be determined by the team with the fewest accumulated conceded points.
      • Playoff Schedule: The Playoffs will take place on Wednesday, August 19th, with the championship final taking place on Wednesday, August 26th.
      • Awards Dinner: First and second place teams will be recognized at the end-of-season Awards Dinner on Wednesday, August 26th.
      • Fees: Registration is $150 per player, (including registered alternates). Fee includes league play and the end-of-season Awards Dinner.
         

      BOCCE GAME RULES:

      1. The Pallino ball must cross the marker in the middle of the bocce court.
      2. The Pallino cannot cross the black line at the end of the court.
      3. The Pallino must be at least a foot away from the sideboard; other, it will be moved by the referee.
      4. If a player throws the Pallino twice and does not meet the first two rules, the opposing team takes control of the Pallino.
      5. If the bocce ball hits the back wall without touching the Pallino, it is a dead ball, and the same player must throwagain.
      6. During the game, if the bocce ball does not touch any ball and hits the wall, it is also a dead ball, and the ball is removed from the court.
      7. Players cannot pass the white line when throwing the ball.
      8. A team can have a substitute during regular games. No substitutions after the game starts. During the playoffs, only the original 4 players can play not an substitute. Alternates registered to that given team may play.
      9. During the playoffs, if 3 players are present, only three balls are in play.
      10. If only one or two team players are present for the game, their team is disqualified. The forfeited team lost 10-0.
      11. Make up games must be played before the next regular scheduled games. The team requesting the make-up will forfeit if this is not possible for the opposing team.
      12. Players should never touch or move any ball or pallino. At the end of the frame and after the referees agree regarding who wins points the ball can be taken from the court.
      13. Rescheduled and/or make-up games should be played before the next regularly scheduled games. These games may beplayed no less than one hour before or after regularly scheduled games and not during.
      14. Rescheduled and/or make up games may not have a referee present. Scores from these games should be emailed in to be recorded.
      15. Any disagreement during the games will be solved by the ultimate and uncontestable decision of the referees.
