Instructor: Mariamor is a Postpartum and Abortion Doula, folk herbalist, and student of the plants. Mariamor’s lineage comes from Honduras and Guatemala. She has studied deeply with the Yucatec Maya lineage to learn about womb care, abdominal massage and working in right relationship with the plants for healing support. Mariamor began incorporating ritual and ceremony in her personal life as a way to heal and find guidance. Those relationships with ritual and ceremony grew immensely during her own release journey, and it was really supportive during that time. Since then she's dreamed of ways to help others find that support if they're called to it. She will be sharing her own personal story with ritual and ceremony during her class. Now she offers ceremonies such as Closing of the Bones ceremonies in person and supports virtually those that want to incorporate ritual during or post release.

Class Description: This class will share rituals that could be useful while going through a release (abortion or miscarriage) ranging from: connecting with plants, baby spirit, elements, prayer and intention. This class could be beneficial for individuals planning a release or for abortion doulas, supporters, and activists acknowledging the spiritual side of release work. This class will include a personal release story share that combines these rituals and ceremonies.
