WHAT IS DANCE REEL RESET?

We specialize in helping professional dancers strengthen their on-camera presence while creating professional video content for reels, auditions, online submissions, and digital platforms. Each workshop includes focused rehearsal sessions where dancers learn contrasting jazz combinations, followed by a dedicated filming day to capture polished, industry-ready footage.

Producing quality video content can get very expensive and often cost thousands. By splitting expenses like a video and choreography team, light rentals, space rentals, editing fees Dance Reel Reset is an effective way to get stunning footage at a fraction of the price. A typical workshop has around 12-18 dancers in the choreography session and we break those into smaller groups on the filming day.

The workshop is created by broadway dancer, choreographer, director and casting director Chip Abbott with a keen eye for what makes a dancer stand out in a room and he specializes in creating and coaching captivating performers.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

Two 2-hour sessions dedicated to learning theatre jazz and commercial jazz choreography.
One 4-hour filming session where dancers rotate in small groups of approximately eight dancers at a time
Each dancer films two solo takes of each combination
We intentionally keep our filming groups small to create a supportive and encouraging environment. By the end of the workshop, dancers often leave not only with polished footage, but also with new friendships and a community that cheers each other on.

FOOTAGE

Within two weeks dancers will receive two polished, professionally color-corrected videos of a solo theatre jazz combination, complete with edited music ready for reels, submissions, and digital platforms.

FEEL LIKE YOU NEED MORE TIME?

Remember that this isn’t a marathon to pick up choreography. Sessions are built in on separate days to allow some time to absorb information. Private review sessions are available at a competitive rate. Just add it on at check out or email me at dancereelreset@icloud.com

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

Your spot is held with a non-refundable $110 deposit, but this will not be guaranteed until paid in full. You must pay in full before the first choreography session.

Due to the amount of overhead, Dance Reel Reset cannot issue refunds on any payments once a dancer has committed to the session. We rely heavily on splitting studio rentals and other costs by having dancers commit. You may offer your spot to another dancer and collect payment from them directly, please notify me at dancereelreset@icloud.com if you decide to choose this option.

I understand and agree that participating in any dance lesson or class, workshop, rehearsal or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury. I voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur to me during any of Dance Reel Reset classes, lessons, rehearsals, performances, or activities. I also exempt, release, and indemnify Chip Abbott and Dance Reel Reset, its owners, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, and/or students from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any damage, loss, injury, or death to me, or property which may arise out of or in connection with participation in any classes or activities conducted by Dance Reel Reset. I further hereby voluntarily agree to waive my rights and that of my heirs and assigns to hold Dance Reel Reset, its owners, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, and/or students liable for such damage, loss, injury, or death. I understand that I should be aware of my physical limitations and agree not to exceed them.
