By signing, I acknowledge that participation in the Shuck & Swallow Oyster Competition involves risks, including but not limited to cuts, punctures, allergic reactions, choking hazards, foodborne illness, and other injuries associated with handling and consuming raw oysters.
I certify that:
• I am at least 18 years of age.
• I voluntarily choose to participate.
• I am physically capable of participating and have disclosed any relevant health concerns.
• I understand the risks involved and assume full responsibility for my participation.
• I release and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, venue operators, Goose Point Oysters, and affiliated organizations from any liability, claims, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from my participation.
I grant permission for photographs and video taken during the event to be used for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.
