• Wonderwend Hollow Fall 2026 Registration Form

  • Welcome to Wonderwend Hollow LLC! We're excited to adventure and learn with you this year.

Our 2026 Fall Season will run from Tuesday, September 8, 2026 though Tuesday, November 24, 2026. We will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-1.

    Tuesday Rhythm:

    • Tuesdays will be a bonus day, offered to deepen friendships and build community. We will go to destination playgrounds and have optional field trips just for fun. Tuesdays are no additional charge, but only open to families enrolled in Thursday programming.

    Thursday Field Trip Rhythm:

    • Child-led play, parent social, and greeting (if field trip location allows)
    • Field Trip: field trips this year will focus on 1st grade science & social studies standards and some just for fun. Not all of these will be covered in fall, these topics span the entire year. Some topics will include:
      • Teambuilding
      • MN Symbols - I Spy Tour
      • Economics - Can I Buy Everything I Want?
      • History - When I was a Kid, Farm Life
      • Animal and Plant Lifecycles
      • Animal Characteristics and Classification
      • Habitats
      • Rocks
      • Seasonal Phenology
      • STEM
      • Stages Theatre: Rudolph (Dec) and The Wiz (Summer)
    • Lunch

Each field trip is intended to spark curiosity and serve as a jumping off point for further exploration at home. Field trips will take place all over the metro and surrounding areas.

    Family Events:

Each quarter we will have a family event so that parents who aren't able to participate in our weekday gatherings can be involved. It may be a potluck or a group activity. The fee each quarter helps cover an activity or the rental spaces to ensure there's room for a group our size.

    Homeschool Days:

Some locations such as the Bell Museum and Works Museum offer homeschool days. These events will be shared in the BAND app, but are not included in tuition. These events are optional and pay/register on your own. The Bell Museum Homeschool Days fall on two of our Tuesday sessions (10/13/26 and 2/2/27).

Once registration is complete and payment is received, you will be added to our BAND group. We use this app for all communication, calendars/events, and sharing photos of our adventures.

Looking forward to adventuring with you,

    Jessi and Scott Rimbey

  • Dot & Jim Seeley and Ava Rimbey Memorial Scholarships

The Rimbey family funds two scholarships each quarter. Dot and Jim were Jessi's grandparents who were avid supporters of education. Dot was a first grade teacher and later was president of her local garden club and president of the first district of the MN Horticulture Society. She volunteered in classrooms as a Master Gardener all over the Twin Cities and in Jessi's classroom! Jim taught safety and management classes at Dakota County technical college in addition to his work in aerospace and concrete. Ava was Scott and Jessi's second child who was stillborn August 13, 2021.
  • We're committed to making our program as accessible as possible and recognize that choosing to homeschool can come with financial trade-offs for many families. In alignment with our values of inclusion and community care, we offer limited scholarships each season to help remove financial barriers to participation. Each season we are offer two scholarships for $50. We don't require families to share financial documents, disclose enrollment in public assistance programs, or even to qualify for public assistance programs. Instead we invite you to indicate your need below. Please note this does not guarantee a scholarship. We will follow up to let you know if you have received the scholarship. If you are selected for a scholarship, you will be reimbursed $50. If this still presents a barrier to participation please reach out to Jessi and Scott at wonderwendhollow@gmail.com.
