    Call for Entries: LIC-A Members Salon 2026

    Long Island City Artists (LIC-A) invite current members to participate in the LIC-A Members Salon 2026, a six-week exhibition at The LIC-A Art Space. This exhibition celebrates the diverse talents of our membership and offers artists the opportunity to present work that best represents their current practice. There is no theme—we simply encourage members to put their best foot forward and share work that reflects their strongest artistic vision, creativity, and craftsmanship. Whether you work in painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, fiber arts, digital media, or other visual art forms, we welcome submissions that showcase the breadth and vitality of the LIC-A community.  Any current LIC-A member can participate in the show.

  • Location: The LIC-A Art Space @ The Factory LIC, 30-30 47th Ave. Suite 105a (main lobby), LIC NY 11101

    On View: August 19 - September 26, 2026

    Opening Reception: Wednesday, August 19, 5-8pm

    Application Deadline: July 25, 2026 @11:59pm

    Acceptance Notification: July 31st, 2026

    Artwork Drop off dates/times: Drop off is August 8, 10am - 2pm and August 10, 10am - 7pm

    Note: Any installation based work requires the artist to be present. Artist should email info@licartists.org to make an appointment.

    IMPORTANT: All large works must be delivered through loading dock 3 (No shipped work please!) Please email us at info@licartists.org, to schedule loading dock drop off times.

    Artwork Pick up dates/times: September 26, 5-7pm September 28, 10am - 7pm (other times for pick up need to be arranged by email - info@licartists.org)

    Application Fee: LIC-A Members $15.00 (Application fees help to pay for exhibition expenses.)

  • Payment / Apps

    LIC-A does not take any percentage of sales. When your artwork sells, the gallery would like to facilitate a payment to you directly from the buyer using your cash payment app. Please provide your Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, CashApp or other payment app info to receive payments for the sale of your work.  If your work sells, but payment cannot be made through an app for any reason, the gallery will collect the payment for you, and you will be paid by check from the gallery after the show closes.   • This will be a curated exhibition. Entries can be submitted by this online form only, and submissions must be received by midnight on the date of the deadline. Artists keep 100% of their sales — LIC-A does not take commission however any donation (however small) from sales are greatly appreciated. We do ask artists to volunteer with install or gallery sit! LIC-A is a volunteer run organization.

    You must be a current LIC-A member to be in the show. If you need to renew your membership or if you want to join LIC-A, you can join LIC-A or renew your membership here! Membership is just $85.00 per year, and we would love to have you as a member of LIC-A!
