Advancing Evidence-Aligned Literacy Preparation Through Partnership, Leadership, Collaboration, and Inquiry

The August 2026 summit brought together voices from across the field to explore how institutions can strengthen literacy programming through evidence-aligned practices, strategic partnerships, and shared leadership.

The day opened with a keynote from Joan Sedita, founder of Keys to Literacy, examining national and state-level trends shaping educator preparation programs today. Participants then engaged in a featured Literacy Leadership session with Pati Montgomery focused on preparing future instructional coaches, principals, and district leaders to build effective literacy and MTSS systems. The summit closed with a panel of higher education leaders and professors sharing perspectives, resources, and strategies for advancing literacy in educator preparation.

Audience: Higher education faculty, educator preparation program leaders, and instructional leaders looking to strengthen literacy programming and explore partnership opportunities.

Registration Process:

✔️ To complete purchase order and check orders, please register your account above and adhere to the provided instructions to finalize your payment with the Keys to Literacy finance team.

✔️ All international registration orders must be submitted using the credit card option. Orders placed via purchase orders or checks will not be accepted.
