    NAA Yoga for Artists Sessions!

    Free (with an optional donation) for NAA Members and $10 for non-members. All proceeds go to the NAA Annual Fund.
  • Newburyport Art is so pleased to offer a trial period of FREE Member Yoga for Artists Sessions! Non-members can join for $10/session.

    Each session runs for an hour-ALL LEVELS welcome, no experience required. 

    Class Format:

    • 60-min gentle flow class
    • Held outdoors in the sculpture garden (weather permitting or inside in Hills gallery)
    • Limit: 12 students
    • Different theme each week

     

    Sessions are stand alone and consecutive. Come for one session, two or all!


    Week 1

    Sunday July 12: 10:00 – 11:00am 

    Wednesday July 15: 8:30 – 9:30am

    Thursday July 16: 5:30 – 6:30pm


    Week 2

    Sunday July 19: 10:00 – 11:00am 

    Wednesday July 22: 8:30 – 9:30am

    Thursday July 23: 5:30 – 6:30pm


    Week 3

    Sunday July 26: 10:00 – 11:00am 

    Wednesday July 29: 8:30 – 9:30am

    Thursday July 30: 5:30 – 6:30pm

     

    About the instructor:


    Diane Simmons, a certified 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, trained in residency at Lakshmi Rising Yoga School in Portugal. Diane specializes in the intersection of physical wellness and creative focus. Her classes target the exact points where modern stress and repetitive movements live – in the wrists, shoulders, neck, hips and back.

    The price is FREE with an optional donation per session for Newburyport Art members, and $10 for non-members.

    Capacity is limited, and the following refund schedule is offered:

    • Cancelling within 1 days of a session: 0% refund
    • Between 2 days and 1 weeks: 50% refund
    • More than 1 weeks: 100% refund

    Using this registration form will allow you to pay by credit card (or PayPal/Venmo) to reserve your place. If you wish to pay by cash or check instead, please do not fill out this form, and instead please visit the galleries at 65 Water Street to make payment and reserve your place. Drop-ins are welcome, but reservations are preferred as space is limited.
