Welcome to the ISC Canada Day Sports Fest 2026 — a day dedicated to sports, fitness, fun, and community spirit!

Join participants from across Calgary for a friendly and exciting celebration featuring Cricket, Soccer, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom. Whether you are a seasoned athlete, a recreational player, or simply looking to meet new people and enjoy an active Canada Day, there is something for everyone.

The event is open to individuals, families, friends, coworkers, and community groups of all skill levels. Participants may register as individuals or teams where applicable. Beyond competition, the Sports Fest aims to promote healthy living, teamwork, inclusion, networking, and community connection.

PARTICIPANT CONSENT, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Please read carefully before proceeding.

By registering for and participating in the ISC Canada Day Sports Fest ("Event"), organized by the Indian Society of Calgary ("ISC"), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Participation in the Event is voluntary and involves inherent risks associated with sports and recreational activities, including but not limited to badminton, cricket, soccer, chess, carrom, table tennis, and related activities.
• I understand that participation may involve the risk of injury, illness, property damage, permanent disability, or other unforeseen incidents. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
• I confirm that I am physically and medically able to participate, or that I have consulted a healthcare professional regarding any condition that may affect my participation.
• I release and hold harmless the Indian Society of Calgary (ISC), its directors, officers, volunteers, event officials, sponsors, partners, venue operators, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or related to my participation in the Event, except where prohibited by law.
• In the event of an emergency, I authorize ISC and its representatives to obtain emergency medical assistance on my behalf if necessary. Any related costs remain my responsibility.
• I agree to follow all Event rules, safety requirements, and instructions provided by organizers, volunteers, officials, and venue staff. ISC reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or contrary to the spirit of the Event.
• I understand that participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and sports equipment where applicable. ISC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
• I grant ISC permission to photograph, record, livestream, and otherwise capture my image, voice, and likeness during the Event and to use such materials for promotional, educational, reporting, fundraising, marketing, website, social media, and other lawful purposes without compensation.
• If I am registering a minor participant, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant and have the authority to provide consent on their behalf.
• I have read and understood this agreement and voluntarily accept its terms. I understand that by agreeing to this waiver, I may be waiving certain legal rights.
• Categories requiring partners or teams are subject to minimum registration numbers. ISC reserves the right to modify, merge, or cancel such categories if sufficient participation is not achieved. Full refunds will be provided where applicable.
• By checking the consent box, providing my electronic signature, and submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Participant Consent, Waiver and Release of Liability.
