CREEK CLUB REGISTRATION

Welcome to Creek Club! 🌿

Creek Club is a place for kids to explore, create, learn & contribute—in small groups with plenty of room for curiosity, connection, and fun.

Some days might take us to the creek. Others might find us in the kitchen, making something with our hands, learning a new skill, or finding a simple way to care for someone else.

The details may change from gathering to gathering, but the heart of Creek Club stays the same: helping kids feel capable, connected, curious, and excited to use what they're learning in the world around them.

Creek Club gatherings are small, hands-on experiences where kids can explore, create, learn & contribute. Each gathering has its own focus, but there's always room for curiosity, connection, and a little fun along the way.

🌿 CREEK + CREATE

Ages 7–11 | Up to 6 kids | $75 per child

A nature-centered gathering with plenty of room to explore, create, and follow our curiosity. Depending on the day, we might walk the creek, go on a scavenger hunt, make art, paint rocks, build something, play outside, or simply spend some unhurried time noticing what's around us.

🥖 BAKE + GIVE

Ages 7–11 | Up to 4 kids | $75 per child

A hands-on kitchen gathering where kids learn basic cooking and baking skills while making something delicious together. We'll practice measuring, mixing, teamwork, and cleanup—and make something extra to share with a neighbor or someone in our community.

🛠️ MAKER CLUB

Ages 7–11 | Up to 6 kids | $75 per child

A hands-on gathering for kids who love to make, build, experiment, and figure things out. Projects might involve art, clay, simple building, soap making, bracelets, gardening, practical life skills, or whatever we're excited to learn next.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Creek Club is a small-group children's enrichment program offering nature exploration, creative projects, cooking and baking, making, practical life skills, and other hands-on activities. Depending on the gathering, activities may take place indoors or outdoors on private residential property and may include creek exploration, outdoor play, walking on uneven terrain, food preparation, use of age-appropriate tools or materials, and supervised interaction with natural environments.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• slips, trips, and falls
• uneven terrain
• wet or slippery surfaces
• insects, plants, and wildlife
• weather exposure
• creek and water-related hazards
• minor injuries associated with outdoor recreation

I understand that Creek Club activities take place outdoors on private property near wooded areas and a creek.

I understand that dogs live on the property and may be present during Creek Club gatherings. While reasonable precautions are taken during interactions with animals, I understand that participation may involve incidental contact with or proximity to dogs. I agree to provide information about any allergies, fears, sensitivities, or other concerns my child may have related to dogs.

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

I certify that my child is physically able to participate in outdoor activities.

I authorize Leah McCracken to obtain emergency medical care for my child if I cannot be reached immediately in the event of an emergency.

LIABILITY RELEASE

I understand and acknowledge the risks associated with participation in outdoor activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Leah McCracken and Creek Club from liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in Creek Club activities, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

PARENT/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT

I understand that Creek Club is a small outdoor enrichment program and not a licensed childcare facility.

I agree to provide my child with:

• a labeled water bottle
• a snack
• weather-appropriate clothing
• appropriate footwear for outdoor terrain

WEATHER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I understand that Creek Club includes outdoor activities and that gatherings may be adjusted, rescheduled, or canceled when weather or property conditions create safety concerns.

REGISTRATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I understand that Creek Club gatherings have limited enrollment and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

My child's spot is reserved upon submission of this registration form and successful payment of the registration fee.

Because Creek Club gatherings are intentionally small and space is limited, each registration reserves a spot that may otherwise have been offered to another child.

Cancellations made 7 or more days before a gathering are eligible for a full refund or transfer to another available Creek Club gathering.

For cancellations made less than 7 days before a gathering, registration fees are nonrefundable. If the open spot can be filled by another child, the registration fee may be transferred to another available Creek Club gathering.

If your child is ill or an unexpected emergency arises, please contact me. I understand that life happens and will do my best to work with families when circumstances allow.

Registrations may be transferred to another eligible child with prior approval, provided that the child's parent or guardian completes all required registration forms and waivers before the gathering.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

If Creek Club cancels a gathering, families may choose a full refund or transfer their registration fee to another available gathering.

Creek Club is designed to embrace the outdoors, and a little rain doesn't necessarily mean a canceled gathering! Activities may be adjusted or moved indoors as needed. If severe weather, flooding, unsafe creek conditions, or other property conditions make a gathering unsafe or impractical, it may be modified, postponed, or canceled.
