  • The DanceMakers Namari Collective is now accepting registrations for the 2026–2027 Collective Competition Team Auditions. 

    One Collective. Three Locations. One Standard.

    This season, company dancers from Midtown, Sandy Springs, and Douglasville will train, rehearse, compete, and perform together as one united team — challenged and developed under one vision, one system, and one elevated standard of excellence.

    This form is your official audition registration. Please complete all sections thoroughly and accurately. Your registration is not confirmed until payment has been submitted.

    Submission of this form does not guarantee placement. All dancers must meet eligibility requirements, including registration/attendance at an approved DNCollective Summer Intensive, and will be evaluated through the full audition process.

    6/14 Audition Groups & Times:

    • Ages 6–8 — 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Ages 9–11 — 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
    • Ages 12 and older — 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

      

    7/18 Audition Groups & Times:

    • Ages 6-11 — 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
    • Ages 12 and older — 2:00 - 4:00 pm

     

    What to Bring:

    • Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes (required for ballet portion)
    • Hair in a clean ballet bun
    • All dance shoes
    • 8.5 × 11 printed headshot — selfies accepted (see headshot requirements below)
    • $20.00 non-refundable audition fee (paid through this form)

     

    Eligibility Requirement: All dancers must be registered to attend a DNCollective Summer Intensive at either the Midtown (Dancemakers of Atlanta) or Sandy Springs (Namari Dance Center) locations prior to auditioning. Current enrolled students are required to attend their home studio's intensive.

     

    *Note*: Dancers registered for DMA's Week Two (Ages 6-11) Summer Intensive are eligible to audition. Results will not be distributed until after the intensive.

    You may still register for the audition today — we just ask that it be completed prior to June 14th.

  • Commitment & Availability

  • The 2026–2027 season is designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate every dancer in The Collective. Company members will train, rehearse, compete, and perform together across all three locations as one united team. The season includes weekly technique training, company rehearsals, conventions and competitions, community performances, team bonding, professional development, studio showcases, and special events.

    As members of The Collective, company dancers are expected to arrive on time and prepared, maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic, commit fully to rehearsals and performances, remain coachable and disciplined, and represent The Collective with professionalism inside and outside the studio.

  • Headshots

  • Your dancer's headshot will be collected at check-in on audition day and used by our judging panel throughout the audition. Please review these requirements carefully and arrive with ONE printed copy.

     

    • Format: 8.5" × 11" printed on standard letter-size paper — home printing is fine 
    • Orientation: Portrait (vertical) 
    • Photo: Clear, well-lit — face and upper body visible. Selfies are accepted. 
    • Hair: Styled as your dancer plans to wear it at the audition 
    • What to write at the bottom: Dancer's full name and age 
    • Do not laminate — the headshot will be written on during check-in 
    • Do not fold — bring it flat (suggested in a folder or envelope)

  • A non-refundable $20.00 audition fee is required to complete your registration. Your spot is not confirmed until payment has been successfully submitted.
