Terms & Conditions:

CODE OF CONDUCT

1. Confidentiality: sharing of any unapproved content from this camp without prior permission/consent of the Program Coordinator is NOT ALLOWED  (includes link, messages, images, documents, emails, forms, etc).You may share your child's work or take home activity (if available).
2. Children are expected to attend DAILY. If for any reason your child cannot attend camp, the parent or the child must communicate either in the camp group chat or by privately messaging the Program Coordinator, PRIOR to camp start time.
3. If you have any issues or concerns, please contact either the program lead directly or the program coordinators.
4. We will be praying Dhur salah daily, so please ensure that girls bring a hijab and boys bring pants so they are appropriately covered for salah.
5. Please send lunch and snack with your child, as well as a refillable water bottle.

Behaviour Expectations:

1. Demonstrate respect for others, especially those in positions of authority.
2. Be courteous and polite at all times especially in electronic mail/online class/group chat exchanges.
3. Appropriate and progressive discipline will result when camp rules and routines are violated.
4. While parental input is welcomed and considered, it is the responsibility of the NICC summer camp staff and administration to make decisions about discipline.

Unacceptable Behaviours

1. Engage in bullying or aggressive behaviour
2. Threaten or intimidate others
3. Engage in behaviours motivated by hate or bias
4. Commit any act of vandalism that causes damage to the premises.
5. Create a disturbance which interrupts or disquiets the proceedings of the camp, a class, or any learning environment. 
6. Discuss in any open forum information that is critical of another camper or instructor. Discussion forums and chat threads are open to all attendees, but they are not appropriate mediums for private correspondence.
7. I understand that my child is expected to follow all camp rules and regulations. Failure to adhere to the code of conduct may result in my child's dismissal from camp without a refund.

Assumption of Risk:

I, the undersigned, understand that participation in NICC Summer Camp involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical activity, outdoor adventure activities, and sports. I acknowledge that NICC Summer Camp has taken reasonable measures to minimize the risk of injury, but I am aware that injuries can occur even with proper planning and supervision.

Release of Liability:

In consideration of NICC Summer Camp accepting my child's participation in the summer camp, I, the undersigned, agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue NICC Summer Camp , its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by my child, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, while participating in any activity, or while in, on, or upon the premises where the activities are being conducted.

Medical Authorization:

In the event of an emergency, I authorize NICC Summer Camp to seek medical treatment for my child. I understand that every effort will be made to contact me or the emergency contact provided. I agree to be responsible for any costs incurred for medical treatment..

Acknowledgment of Understanding:

I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, and fully understand its terms. I understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue. I acknowledge  the agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend by proceeding to the next step to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

Refund & Cancellation : 

Cancellation Policy:

1. Cancellations made 2 week before the camp start date: A full refund, minus the 15% non-refundable processing & adminstrative fee, will be issued.
2. Cancellations made 1 week before the camp start date: A 50% refund of the camp fees, will be issued. This fee covers administrative costs and materials.
3. Cancellations made under 1 week before the camp start date:No refunds will be issued.

Withdrawal Policy:

1. If a camper withdraws from the camp after the session has started, no refund will be issued.
2. Exceptions may be made in the case of medical emergencies, with appropriate documentation.

Camp Cancellation by NICC Summer Camp:

1. If NICC Summer Camp must cancel a camp session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, public health emergencies), a full refund, including the registration fee, will be issued.
2. NICC Summer Camp reserves the right to cancel or modify the camp schedule, activities, or facilities a full refund, including the registration fee, will be issued if cancelled.

Transfer Policy:

1. Campers may transfer to a different session if space is available.
2. Requests for transfers must be made atleast 14 days before the original camp start date by sending a request to niagaramuslims@gmail.com with the camper's name.

How to Request a Refund or Cancellation:

1. To request a refund or cancellation, please contact niagaramuslims@gmail.com
2. Provide the camper’s name, session dates, and reason for cancellation.

Processing Time:

1. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the cancellation request.
2. No Cash Refunds will be issued. 

Special Circumstances:

NICC Summer Camp understands that unforeseen circumstances can arise.
Please contact us directly to discuss any special circumstances regarding your refund or cancellation.

Acknowledgment:

By registering your child for NICC Summer Camp, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this refund and cancellation policy.
