Team Registration Acknowledgement

Team Requirement Policy
All competition divisions at Cypher Rotunda require a complete team at the time of registration and on the day of the event.
- 2v2 Breaking
  Each team must consist of exactly two (2) competitors.
- 3v3 Open Styles
  Each team must consist of exactly three (3) competitors.
Competitors are responsible for ensuring that all team members are registered and present at the event.

If a team arrives incomplete for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Teammate absence
- Late arrival
- Failure to register
- Injury
- Withdrawal
  
  the team will be considered ineligible to compete.
Incomplete teams will:
- Not be permitted to battle
- Not receive a refund
- Not be permitted to remain inside the designated competitor-only battle area unless separately registered and approved.
  
  Event organizers reserve the right to verify team rosters and deny participation to any incomplete or improperly registered team.

SECTION 3: Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in dance battles, breaking, performances, competitions, and related activities involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• Falls
• Collisions
• Physical exertion
• Equipment failure
• Injuries resulting from participation

I voluntarily choose to participate and fully assume all risks associated with my participation.

In consideration for being allowed to participate in Cypher Rotunda, I release and hold harmless:

• Cypher Side LLC
• Cypher Side Dance School
• Mall of America
• Event sponsors
• Event staff
• Judges
• DJs
• Volunteers
• Contractors

from any claims, demands, damages, losses, injuries, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from participation in the event, except where prohibited by law.

I certify that I am physically able to participate and assume responsibility for any medical expenses that may arise as a result of participation.
I have read and agree to the Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk.

SECTION 4: Photo & Video Release
I grant permission to Cypher Side LLC, Mall of America, event sponsors, media partners, photographers, videographers, and authorized representatives to photograph, film, livestream, record, and otherwise capture my image, likeness, voice, and performances during the event.

I understand that these materials may be used for:

• Social media content
• Event promotion
• Marketing and advertising
• Livestreams
• Recap videos
• News coverage
• Future promotional materials

I understand that I will not receive compensation for such use.

SECTION 5: Event Policies & Code of Conduct - PLEASE READ
Cypher Rotunda is a public event held at Mall of America and is intended to be welcoming and appropriate for attendees of all ages.

All competitors, coaches, media personnel, and guests are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.

The following behavior is prohibited:

• Fighting or physical altercations
• Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
• Discriminatory or hateful language
• Excessive profanity directed toward others
• Intentionally damaging property
• Alcohol or illegal drug use
• Disruptive conduct that negatively impacts the event

Because this event takes place in a public family environment, the following are also prohibited during battles, performances, and interactions:

• Middle finger gestures
• Sexual gestures or sexually suggestive movements
• Obscene gestures
• Hate symbols
• Offensive or inappropriate displays
• Any conduct deemed unsuitable for a family audience

Cypher Side LLC, Mall of America, and event staff reserve the right to remove any participant or guest who violates these policies. Removal may occur without refund.
By signing, I have read and agree to follow the Event Policies and Code of Conduct.

SECTION 6: Additional Credentials Request

Please note: Access inside the gates of the designated battle area is limited to registered competitors and approved credential holders. Additional fees will apply for approved parents/guardians or media personnel.

Please note: Approval is not guaranteed. Access inside the designated battle area is limited to registered competitors and approved credential holders.
By checking this box, I understand that only registered competitors and approved credential holders are permitted inside the designated battle area gates. All other guests, including family members, friends, coaches, and media personnel, must remain outside the event gates unless approved in advance by event organizers 24 hours or more in advance. Cypher Rotunda and Cypher Side LLC will not approve any family members, friends, coaches, and media personnel on the day of event.

Prize Payment Acknowledgement

By checking this box, I understand that if my team places 1st and is awarded prize money, payment will be issued electronically via Zelle or PayPal only. Cash payments will not be available. I understand that winning competitors or teams may be required to provide payment information after the event. If prize winnings paid to an individual or entity meet applicable tax reporting requirements (including payments of $600 or more), Cypher Side LLC may require a completed IRS Form W-9 before payment is issued. Failure to provide requested tax documentation may delay prize distribution.
