- Understand the Malawi Mission trip alongside Passion Center for Children
- See the impact of this mission trip from the OT and SLP student perspective
- Discuss the need for various medical/health disciplines for this trip
- Learn specific information regarding logistics of this summer 2026 trip, i.e. cost, travel, etc.
About the Speaker:
Pat Steffen-Sanchez is an occupational therapist with over 40 years of experience dedicated to advancing compassionate, culturally responsive care and mentorship within the profession.
In addition to her academic and clinical contributions, Pat established a meaningful international service-learning mission trip through Passion Center for Children in Malawi for occupational therapy students and practitioners. Through this initiative, participants have the opportunity to engage in culturally grounded service, advocacy, and community partnership work.
When:June 10, 2026, 6-7 pm via zoom
