    The Miss South Carolina and North Carolina Junior High, High School and Collegiate America State Pageants are the official state preliminary pageants for Miss Junior High School America, Miss High School America and Miss Collegiate America.

    State Winners will represent their state in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Miss Junior High School America, Miss High School America and Miss Collegiate America Pageants!

    National Winners receive a $100,000 Prize Package! $10,000 Cash Scholarship Included!

    Fees and Payment Information:
    Entry Fee: $350
    A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to register and secure the contestant’s entry. This deposit is applied toward the entry fee. The remaining balance is due by December 2, 2026.

    Mandatory Ad Page Fee: $200
    Each contestant is required to purchase one full-page ad in the official program book. The ad page fee is due by December 2, 2026.

    A contestant is officially registered once the entry form and $100 nonrefundable deposit have been submitted.

  • Required Competition:

    ● Interview: Attire requirement is Sundress or Dressy Outfit. The interview competition is worth 40% of the overall score. Each contestant will take part in an individual, 3-minute, panel style interview. The interview will conclude with a 30 second closing option. This competition will focus on the ability to speak confidently, conduct a focused and mature conversation, and eloquently portray one’s individual personality. This is the contestant’s opportunity to prove that they are ready for the job as a state titleholder. The interview will be based off the information provided by the contestant on the contestant resume or age appropriate questions. This is a fun and personality-based interview.
    ● Evening Gown: Attire requirement is an evening gown or something you would wear to prom. The gown should be age appropriate. The evening gown competition is worth 40% of the overall score. Each contestant will take the stage in the formal wear gown of their choosing. This is the time to walk confidently and capture the entire audience’s attention with your elegance and grace. It is important for one to be confident and comfortable in their evening gown presentation.
    ● Fashion Runway: Attire requirement is an outfit that shows your personal style: Fashionable Outfit, Pantsuit, Sundress, Cocktail, etc (No Hats, No Jeans, No Flip Flops). Fashion runway is worth 20% of the overall score. This is an exciting and upbeat competition. Contestants are encouraged to wear a red carpet worthy outfit that appropriately shows off their personality and confidence. It is important for one to have fun and show their true personality during this phase of competition.

  • Age Divisions:

    Divisions are based on the contestant’s current grade during the Fall 2026 school year.
    ● Junior High: 6-8th grade
    ● High School: 9-11th grade
    ● Collegiate: 12th Grade or enrolled in a college, university, graduate school, technical school, certificate program, online program or another continuing education course

    *Contestants can not exceed 28 years of age at the time of the national pageant.

  • Junior High, High School and Collegiate Additional Info: 

    ● Headshot/Roster Photo: A contestant headshot must be submitted to the appropriate link (click here) by December 2, 2026 for the program book and social media posting. Photo should be in color, high resolution, headshot only, no full body shots.

    ● Opening number: Junior High, High School and Collegiate contestants will wear an all-white outfit of their choice for opening number.

    ● Contestant Resume: Must be only one page. Please follow the example listed below. The resume must be submitted in PDF file format to the appropriate link (click here) by December 15, 2026.

    ● Ad Page: Each contestant is required to purchase one full-page ad in the official program book. The $200 ad page fee is due to the state office by December 2, 2026.

    Contestants may pay the fee directly or collect sponsorships from parents, family members, friends, or businesses. Many contestants choose to collect twenty $10 sponsorships. All sponsorship funds should be collected directly by the contestant.

    The pageant office will create the ad page using the official design templates at no additional cost. Contestants should not submit a completed ad page design. Instead, the contestant must submit one photo, the names of all sponsors to be recognized, and the $200 fee through the designated form by clicking here. Additional information and examples will be sent out once you are a registered contestant. 

  • Optional Competitions:

    These optional competitions are judged separately and do not affect a contestant’s Interview, Fun Fashion, Evening Gown, or overall age division score. They will be awarded separately on stage before crowning.

    ● Color Photogenic: Contestants may enter a headshot in the optional Color Photogenic Competition for $30. Additional photos may be entered for $15 each. The winner will receive a gift and be recognized on stage during pageant weekend. Click Here to enter this optional competition. 

    ● Black and White Photogenic: Contestants may enter a black and white headshot of their choice in this optional competition for $30. Additional photos may be entered for $15 each. The winner will receive a gift and be recognized on stage during pageant weekend. Click Here to enter this optional competition. 

    ● Age Division Cover Model Award: The Divisional Cover Model Award will be presented to the contestant who sells the highest number of ad pages within her specific age division and state. There will be one winner from each North Carolina and South Carolina age division.

    Contestants must sell a minimum of two ad pages to be eligible. This minimum includes the contestant’s one mandatory ad page. Each winner will receive a crown and official Divisional Cover Model sash and will be crowned the Divisional Cover Model Winner. Click Here to submit additional ad pages. All qualifying ad pages must be paid in full by December 2, 2026.

    ● Overall Cover Model Award: The Overall Cover Model Award will be presented to the contestant who sells the highest number of ad pages among all North Carolina and South Carolina Senior Division Pageant contestants. The Overall Cover Model will be featured on either the inside front cover or the back cover of the program book.

    The winner’s photo will also be enlarged and displayed throughout pageant weekend. She will receive a cash gift, crown, and official Overall Cover Model sash and will be crowned the Overall Senior Division Cover Model. Click Here to submit additional ad pages.     Yes, a contestant may win her age division and also be named a Divisional Cover Model or the Overall Cover Model.

    To secure your entry, please submit the $100 non refundable deposit below.

    Host hotel booking information, the detailed pageant weekend schedule, and other important event details will be emailed to registered contestants as the pageant dates approach.

    Step 1: Register as a Contestant

    Submit the completed entry form and $100 nonrefundable deposit. The deposit will be applied toward the $350 entry fee and will secure the contestant’s place in the pageant.

    The remaining entry fee balance and the mandatory ad page fee are due by December 2, 2026.

    Step 2: Submit Required Information

    Submit the contestant resume, roster photo/headshot, and ad page information using the appropriate submission links by their designated deadlines.
