Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 35th edition of the Outsider Art Fair, to be held March 18–21, 2027 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York!

This application form is intended for new exhibitors and returning exhibitors who did not participate in the 2026 edition of the Fair.

The Outsider Art Fair welcomes applications from galleries, private dealers, and not-for-profit organizations. Applications from individual artists will not be accepted.

Applicants must ensure that the artists and works included in the application are appropriately categorized as outsider art, self-taught art, art brut, or otherwise aligned with the Fair’s mission and curatorial scope.

Our selection committee members are Scott Ogden, SHRINE; Shari Cavin, Cavin-Morris Gallery; Bill Arning, Bill Arning Exhibitions; and Rachel Weisman, Fountain House Gallery. Applications are evaluated based on artistic quality, booth concept, originality, and relevance to the field.

A non-refundable application fee of $250 is required to submit an application. The application deadline is July 31, 2026.

Final booth pricing is based on square footage. Management will use its best efforts to make booth placements based on size preferences, but availability is not guaranteed.

Additional required fees include:

• aisle lighting fee, where applicable based on booth placement

Optional additional fees may apply for booth extras including, but not limited to:

• additional walls
• storage
• furniture
• additional lighting

Payment Schedule
- Application fee - due with application, by July 31, 2026
- First installment - approximately 50% of the remaining booth balance - due October 2, 2026
- Final balance - due January 15, 2027

Please describe the curatorial concept and proposed artist presentation for your booth.

Upload a short written bio and a CV/resume for each artist in your application.
