• The State Historical Society of Missouri’s Holiday Open House Vendor Application

  • Welcome to the Vendor Application for the Holiday Open House hosted by the State Historical Society of Missouri (SHSMO). We are accepting Missouri-based artists, makers, and artisans who would like to sell their items at the open house. Please complete this form and our office will be in touch within seven business days.

    The Holiday Open House will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2026.

  • Vendor Guidelines

  • The Holiday Open House is a celebration of local Missouri talent. We are only accepting vendors who are artists, makers, or artisans showcasing their own original, handcrafted work or products. Please note that we are not accepting commercial or direct sales businesses for this event. Questions regarding vendor qualification can be emailed to shsmobookstore@shsmo.org. 

    Vendors are not permitted to bring:

    • Large pipe-and-drape systems
    • Oversized shelving
    • Tents or canopies
    • Open flames/candles
    • Balloons
    • Displays extending into walkways
    • Additional tables 

     

    Vendors are permitted to bring:

    • One display rack or vertical display
    • Small shelving units or tabletop risers
    • Battery-operated lighting
    • Holiday decor for booth styling
    • Tabletop signage, branding materials, business cards and promotional materials
    • Extension cords/power strips (if electricity requested)
    • One small rolling cart or wagon for setup

  • Access Times

  • Vendor setup will begin at 7:00 a.m. All booths must be fully set and vehicles moved to lot RC 19 (located across the street from our building at S Sixth St and Locust St) by 8:45 a.m. Guests will start arriving at 9:00 a.m.

          Gold Level. This level includes a 6' table with two chairs and access to a table in the Hulston Lobby. Vendors need to purchase two booths, if they require a space larger than 6'.
