- Commitment: Registration covers the selected day or days in the 8-week technical program; players are expected to attend their selected sessions.
- Player Attire & Safety: Players must wear appropriate football clothing and shin guards; bring a refillable water bottle.
- Supervision: A parent or legal guardian should remain at the venue during sessions unless otherwise approved by the Club.
- Medical Emergency Authority: I authorise the Club to seek medical treatment or call emergency services if required; I accept responsibility for costs incurred.
- Medical Disclosure: I confirm all relevant medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or injuries have been disclosed.
- Physical Participation Declaration: I declare the player is medically fit to participate and not aware of any condition that would place others at risk.
- Risk Acknowledgement & Waiver: Participation involves risk; to the extent permitted by law, I release and indemnify the Club from claims except where caused by gross negligence.
- Code of Conduct: The player must follow the Player Code of Conduct; breaches may result in removal from training or matches.
- Parent/Guardian Behaviour: Parents/guardians must follow the Parent Code of Conduct; misconduct may affect the player’s participation.
- Child Safety: The Club follows Football Victoria and Football Australia child safety standards; concerns should be raised with the Child Safety Officer.
- Equipment & Property: I agree to reimburse the Club for damage or loss of Club equipment caused by negligence.
- Discipline & Club Decisions: Selection and disciplinary decisions are at the Club’s discretion in line with Club policies.
- Payments: I agree to make full payment by the due date; participation may be suspended if payments are not made.
- Governing Body Compliance: I acknowledge the Club operates under Football Victoria and Football Australia rules and agree to comply.

Summer Heat Safety and Cancellation Conditions
Safety comes first. These conditions apply to TNFC Summer Season and Technical Session activities. TNFC follows its Heat Safety Policy and Football Victoria extreme-weather guidance.
Heat limits use WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature), a heat-stress measure that includes humidity and sun exposure. WBGT is not the ordinary air temperature shown in a weather app.
- MiniRoos (normally U6–U11): postpone, cancel or stop outdoor activity at 26°C WBGT or above.
- Juniors U12–U18: postpone, cancel or stop outdoor activity at 29°C WBGT or above.
- Apply the more protective limit to mixed-age groups. Coaches may stop or cancel earlier because of humidity, direct sun, limited shade, player age, health or signs of heat stress. Being below a limit does not guarantee safety.
TNFC will assess local Bureau of Meteorology information and on-site conditions before and during activity. In hot conditions, coaches will reduce intensity or duration and increase water and shaded rest breaks. In extreme heat, outdoor training will not run between 11am and 5pm; moving a session outside those hours does not override the heat limits. Players must bring water, use sun protection and report feeling unwell immediately.
Changes and notices: TNFC may shorten, stop, postpone or cancel sessions where conditions are unsafe. Families will be notified through the club’s usual communication channels as soon as practicable and should check messages before travelling. Conditions may also require an immediate decision at the venue.
Cancellation and Refund Conditions
To the extent permitted by law, fees are non-refundable for cancelled, postponed, shortened or interrupted sessions, including heat, severe weather, unsafe grounds, venue closures or other safety or operational reasons. TNFC may arrange replacement sessions where practical, but these are not guaranteed. This condition does not override TNFC’s published Refund & Cancellation Policy or any right to a refund, credit or other remedy under Australian Consumer Law. Whole-programme cancellations and significant changes will be assessed under that policy and applicable law.
