About Leadership North County (LNC)
Through a one and a half day retreat and nine program days, Leadership North County (LNC) connects participants with community leaders, strengthens communication and leadership skills, and builds awareness of local issues and opportunities.

LNC is presented by the Paso Robles & Templeton Chamber of Commerce with support from the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce.

Please review the full application, program structure, and requirements before applying. Employer approval is required for applicants who are not self-employed.

After submitting your application, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. Please note that participation is limited, and applying does not guarantee acceptance.
Participant's Commitment
The Leadership North County program accepts participants who work and/or live in San Luis Obispo County. Participants should have a strong interest in learning about business and community in the San Luis Obispo County region. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older to apply.

Each participant is required to attend the two-day retreat and all one-day workshops held each month over the course of ten months. Please read the following statements and sign at the end of this document.

Attendance: I have reviewed the dates of the Leadership North County retreat and day-of sessions (listed below), and if accepted into the program, agree to devote the time and resources necessary to attend all sessions, arriving on time each day and being in attendance for the full program day. Furthermore, I will complete outside assignments as directed.

I understand and acknowledge that if it becomes unavoidable to miss all or part of a Leadership session:
- I will notify the Program Coordinator immediately regarding my upcoming absence
- I have authorization from the management of my company/organization for full participation (If Applicable).

Retreat & Workshop Dates

Retreat: Friday, August 21 - Saturday, August 22

Workshops: Usually on the third Friday of each month. Typical workshop days are anticipated at 9am-4pm with variations to this schedule.

Tuition Payment
Your tuition investment of $2,500 (checks are preferred) covers all program materials and costs, lunch at each of the 9 one-day workshops, and cost of the weekend retreat. If paying by credit card, the tuition will be $2,550 (to cover the cost of processing fees).

Payment Terms: A $250 deposit is required when your application is submitted. The deposit will be refunded if you are not selected for the program. If selected for the program, your $250 deposit will be applied to your $2,500 tuition and the remaining balance is due by August 3, 2026.

If accepted and paying by check, your entire tuition must be received in our office by end of business on August 3, 2026.

Tuition is non-refundable.
