Meditation Australia is pleased to introduce a new monthly member-only gathering for Meditation Australia meditation teachers, featuring a special guest senior meditation teacher each month.
Our next session will be held on Friday 26 June, from 12:00pm – 12:45pm AEDT.
These sessions will continue on the last Friday of every month (except October) and are designed to support reflection, professional connection, and shared inquiry within our teaching community.
Each session includes:
• A short guided meditation
• A reflection from our guest teacher
• Time for open discussion and connection
Reflections may explore aspects of the teacher’s personal practice, teaching themes, or insights relevant to meditation practitioners and teachers at this time.
Designed to fit into your lunch break, feel free to bring your own lunch.
Our first guest facilitator is Professor Craig Hassed, OAM, MBBS, FRACGP, Patron of Meditation Australia and Professor and Director of Education at the Monash University Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies.
Craig is one of Australia’s leading voices in mindfulness and contemplative practice. He has published more than 120 peer-reviewed journal articles and authored fifteen books, including several widely recognised works on mindfulness such as Mindfulness for Life and Mindful Learning. Craig has played a significant role in bringing meditation and mindfulness into healthcare, education, and the wider community, and continues to support teachers and the public in spreading the benefits of meditation.
Cost: $25 per session
We look forward to welcoming you.
