2026 ABA/NBAA Summer Camp Registration.

Thank you for registering for this year's ABA/NBAA-sanctioned Bando Summer Camp. We are excited to return to Athens, Ohio, and our group training site at Strouds Run State Park.

This year's camp will be diversified curriculum with instruction in Free Style Fighting and Kickboxing Systems as well as Animal systems [all but Viper offered]. Each training session will begin with 15 minute stretch designed to prepare the body for training. Participants will then break into specialized training tracks in Fighting Systems, Animal Systems.

Fighting Systems training will be directed by Sayaji Kenny Corl. Animal Systems instruction will be offered by the Chief Instructors or their seconds.  Warm up and stretch will prepare the body for training by enhancing flexibility, improving mobility, and increasing overall performance and will be under the leadership of Sayaji Mark Semingson. 

This camp is designed for everyone—from beginning students to experienced fighters and instructors who are interested in learning and developing in the Bando curriculum. Participants will be encouraged to train at a level appropriate to their experience, goals, and interests. 

Instructors seeking guidance for advancing students in the fighting curriculum toward black belt rank within the ABA/NBAA will receive direct instruction and guidance from Sayagyi Kenny Corl, Director of Kickboxing, regarding rank requirements and student development.

Camp schedule, times etc. on our website are tentative. Start and end times are fixed.

Once your registration has been submitted, you will be directed to a payment link. Participants who prefer not to pay online may pay in cash [please have exact amount] upon arrival at camp. Please note that pre-registration by July 16 is required to receive the discounted camp fee.

If your ABA/NBAA membership is not current and you would like to qualify for member pricing, please visit the ABA website and renew your membership prior to continueing with your registration for this camp.

For those wishing to stay at the group campsite, camping is available for $10 per night, payable at camp.

Waiver-

1. I hereby apply to participate in the National Bando Summer Camp at Strouds Run, Athens, Ohio, on July 31st thru the 2nd of August, 2026. As an express precondition to my participation in this event, I agree to abide by all the terms and provisions here within.

2. DEFINITION: I hereby state and certify that I understand the “Promoter” as used in this document means (without limitation): The American Bando Association [ABA] AND the National Bando Association of America [NBAA], in partnership with the owner(s) and/or operator(s) of the Strouds Run Group Campground at which the Summer Camp will be held, and all the officials, instructors, members, guests, volunteers, spectators, representatives, employees, officers, officials, directors. I also state and certify that I understand and agree that all waivers and releases set out 3. 4. 5. below are also applicable in every respect to THE AMERICAN BANDO ASSOCIATION, INC. and THE NATIONAL BANDO ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (all of the foregoing persons and/or entities collectively being referred to hereinafter and in other related documents as the “ABA/NBAA”.) officials, instructors, members, guests, volunteers, spectators, representatives, employees, officers, officials, officers, directors, and agents of the ABA/NBAA  I hereby expressly certify to the “ABA/NBAA” that I am of sound mind and body and that my health is such that I may freely participate the Bando National Summer Camp.

WAIVER: In connection with my observation of participation in the Bando Forms Camp, I HEREBY FREELY, IRREVOCABLY AND COMPLETELY WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION FOR DAMAGES, EQUITABLE RELIEF OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND OR NATURE WHATSOEVER BASED UPON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY AGAINST THE “ABA/NBAA.”

MEDIA RELEASE AND USE AGREEMENT: I consent to being filmed, and/or photographed during my participation in the National Summer Camp for use (at no fee to me) by the ABA and/or Dr. Gyi. In the event that I videotape or electronically record the events and training at the Seminar, I hereby agree that under no circumstances will such recording (1) be posted on the internet, such as (but limited to You Tube, etc. or (2) distributed to others outside the ABA. I agree that only the ABA can post any recordings of the Seminar on the internet or otherwise distribute such recordings. I authorize the ABA, acting through its Counsel, to contact any internet provider(s) for any website not owned  instruct the provider(s) that the video of the seminar be removed immediately.
