Clinical Developmental Supervision

This training will cover foundations of clinical supervision. Jackie Anderson-Carter, PhD, LCSW will review major supervision models used in mental health professions, especially developmental supervision. Practical tools, ethics, challenges, and cases will also be discussed. This training can count toward supervision requirements for licensure renewal. Registrants are encouraged to attend live to gain the full benefits of this training but could register for a recorded version if unable to do so.

Jackie Anderson-Carter, PhD, LCSW has extensive experience in community programs, academia, and is currently serving as the Clinical Director at Inclusive Insight Psychotherapy and Consulting. She has supervised people and programs throughout her career and is dedicated to supporting new clinicians and supervisors. She has done extensive training and research on supervision. She also is a professor of social work, even teaching leadership courses and is a sought-after trainer and consultant on supervision and program management. She also facilitates our certificate program course: Fundamentals of Effective Clinical Supervision.

Attendees who engage in this training will receive an evaluation, which will generate their CE certificate. Inclusive Insight Psychotherapy and Consulting, provider number 2389, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 8/15/25-8/15/26. Social workers completing this course receive 3 Clinical continuing education credits. Course material is at an intermediate level for social workers. Inclusive Insight Psychotherapy and Consulting has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7833. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Inclusive Insight Psychotherapy and Consulting is solely responsible for allaspects of the programs.
