Sexual Harassment Prevention and Bystander Intervention

This training meets requirements for employers in Chicago and general requirements for Illinois employers as well as licensure renewal requirements. A particular focus will be placed on harassment in therapy settings and how to navigate both workplace and client conversations. Beyond the sexual harassment prevention training, this will also include bystander intervention training required annually by employers in the City of Chicago. Two CE credits will be offered.  

By the end of the training, participants will be able to: Define sexual harassment and identify exmples | Identify remedies and employer responsibilities to sexual harassment | Identify methods of bystander intervention

Maeve Raphelson, LCSW, has been providing therapy in community mental health and private practice settings for thirteen years. She focuses her clinical work on trauma, depression, and life changes. She is passionate about local politics and views her social work vocation as both micro-level (one-on-one therapy) and macro-level (creating systemic change).

Participants will receive an evaluation to complete after the program, which will generate their CE certificate. Inclusive Insight Psychotherapy and Consulting, provider number 2389, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 8/15/25-8/15/26. Social workers completing this course receive 2 general continuing education credits. This course content is at a beginner level for social workers. Inclusive Insight Psychotherapy and Consulting has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7833.
