  • Explanation of Tiers

Tiny Exhibition: Our Tiny Exhibition team is an opportunity to introduce the experience of All-Star cheerleading for younger athletes in a non-competitive manner open to ages 3-4. These young athletes will learn jumps, motions, tumbling and dance. These skills will be choreographed into a 1 min and 30 sec routine that will be performed at competitions. No tumbling is required. -$150/month for 12 months June-May (includes weekly practices, competition fees, music fee, choreography + any additional practices as needed). Annual registration fee, uniform & travel expenses not included.

***3 & 4-year-olds do not need to attend evaluations as they will automatically be placed on our Tiny Exhibition team, but parents must finish this form in order to hold your child's spot on the team. Tiny Exhibition will practice twice a week for an hour each practice.

Exhibition: Designed to offer a team experience for young beginners that show interest in All Star cheer in a non-competitive manner. This tier prepares young athletes for more competitive and performance-based teams, but considered more of a "show" team that does not receive scores from the judges. These teams focus on strengthening technique and performance of skills that help prepare athletes for competitive All Star teams. Exhibition teams do not have required skills to tryout, but may also be for athletes who need extra assistance on perfecting level one skills and technique prior to moving onto the Novice level. Exhibition teams will practice twice a week for an hour each practice. -$150/month for 12 months June-May (monthly tuition includes weekly practices, competition fees, music fee, choreography + any additional practices as needed). Annual registration fee, uniform & travel expenses not included.

All Star Rec & Novice: For individuals who are focusing on the fundamentals of all star cheerleading and designed to continue strengthening technique and performance skills in a competitive team atmosphere. These teams typically require less time and cost commitments than are required of All Star Prep or Elite teams. These teams will practice twice a week for an hour each practice. Novice teams are scored using a ranking system at competitions (Outstanding, Excellent or Superior) as apposed to receiving placements whereas All Star Rec only receives placements. -$205/month for 12 months June-May (monthly tuition includes weekly practices, competition fees [excluded the chosen End of Season Event comp fee], music fee + any additional practices as needed). Annual registration fee, uniform, choreography & travel fees not included.

Prep: For individuals with strong cheer training and solid technique ability. Prep teams are comprised of athletes who are ready for more competitive performance levels as preparation for the elite level. Prep teams require major dedication and commitment to the sport and their teams. Members on a Prep team must understand that this is a priority and missing practices due to outside sports will not be allowed. Prep teams will practice twice a week for 1.5 hours each practice. -$255/month for 12 months June-May (monthly tuition includes weekly practices, competition fees [excluding the chosen End of Season Event comp fee], music fee + any additional practices as needed). Annual registration fee, uniform, choreography & travel fees not included.

Elite: For individuals with an experienced cheer background and superb technique ability. Elite teams are comprised of athletes who are ready for extremely competitive performance levels. Individuals will require major dedication and commitment to the sport and their teams. Members on an elite team must understand that this is a priority and missing practices due to outside sports will not be allowed. Elite teams will practice twice a week for 2 hours each practice. -$275/month for 12 months June-May (monthly tuition includes weekly practices, competition fees [excluding the awarded Bid or End of Season Event comp fee], music fee + any additional practices as needed). Annual registration fee, uniform, choreography & travel fees not included.

***All Star Rec, Novice & Prep teams will compete at a bigger Nationals event at the end of the season at a Texas location. Reminder: this end of season event is not included into tuition.

***Elite teams may compete at a bigger Nationals event at the end of the season at a Texas location or get a bid to an event in Orlando, FL. Reminder: these end of season events are not included into tuition.

  • Team Placements

Decisions are made based on a multitude of criteria, such as tumbling, jumps, performance, as well as age and maturity. Just because an athlete can perform a majority of a particular level of tumbling skills does not mean that he/she will make that same level team. Just because an athlete was on a Novice team in the previous season does not mean the athlete will automatically move to a prep team for a new season, etc. In order to put together strong teams, we are looking at mastered skills that can be performed consistently with excellent technique throughout the duration of a routine.

Athletes may choose to be evaluated during their age group or sign up for a private evaluation. Private evaluations consist of a one on one evaluation between the athlete and coach.

***If you choose to sign up for a private evaluation, please contact the office at 903-249-3746 once completing this form.

ALL evaluations are closed to parents. No parents may be allowed in the gym during the evaluation process, this includes private evaluations.

Teams will be announced no later than Friday, May 29. All packets MUST be turned in by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2nd. (Packets will be released the week of evaluations)

***Upon receiving your atheltes placement, all questions and/or concerns may be made by email ONLY.
