Stallion Incentive Terms:
NILE Gold Buckle Incentive Nomination Rules:

-Nominations will CLOSE September 1st, 2026 Absolutely NO refunds. Anyone not making all payments on time or not participating in the events will forfeit all money paid in.

-An office charge will be deducted from each nomination fee. The remainder will be added into the NILE Gold Buckle event purse.

-Gold Buckle Ranch Horse Futurity purses will be split 85/15, with 85% being paid to the owner of the competing horse at the time of the event. The remainder of the purse (15%) will be paid to the individual or organization that has made the horse eligible. If the horse is eligible because it was consigned to the NILE Gold Buckle Select Horse Sale, then the consignor will be paid. If the horse is eligible because it was sired by a nominated stallion, then the stallion owner will receive the winnings. Eligibility will be determined first, by the horse being consigned to the sale, and second, by the horse being sired by a nominated stallion.

-The nominated stallion and his progeny are eligible to enter their age-appropriate class (entry fee applies) in the Gold Buckle Ranch Horse Futurity. Please see respective event entry form and rules for more details.

-Nomination is valid for one year. Stallions must be nominated the same year they, or their offspring, wish to enter.

-Eligibility will remain with the horse regardless of changes in ownership after entry or nomination.

-Any rules or methods of conducting the events not covered in this form will be determined by NILE officials.

-Nominated stallions will be listed on NILE website, PA mentions during NILE Horse Events, and listing on NILE social media

The NILE, Metra Park, Yellowstone County, their employees, or volunteers will not be responsible for any injury or loss of any animal, nor any accidents, injury, or loss of life to any participants or spectators during the event. All stallions must arrive with the necessary travel paperwork required by the Montana Department of Livestock. Please send digital pictures to equine@thenile.org. File type should be .png, or .jpeg.
