BioMedEdu Summer 2026 Biomedical Research & Biotechnology Boot Camp

Program Overview

This program introduces students to biomedical research through online training, hands-on laboratory experience, and project-based research. Designed for students who seek hands-on training, and it is also complementary the ASPIRATION program. it provides opportunities for students interested in biotechnology, biomedical science, medicine, and scientific presentations. No prior experience required.

Program Structure & Fees

BME601-LAB-01L1 | Virtual Foundation | May 31 - June 28 | Sunday 2-4 PM
Research basics, experimental design, lab safety, scientific thinking, abstract writing, and poster preparation.
Early Registration by May 20: $150 | Regular Registration: $200

BME601-LAB-01L2 | Hands-On Boot Camp |L1+L2
Virtual Foundation Sundays & Hands-on 1-week, laboratory training in pipetting, gel electrophoresis, basic cell culture, and laboratory workflow.

Early Registration by May 20: $385 | Regular Registration: $450

Flexible scheduling (June 8 – June 19, 2026) + L1 Virtual Sundays
Morning (9 AM–12 PM) or Afternoon (1–4 PM)

BME601-LAB-01L3 | Project-Based Research |L1+L2+L3 | June 8 - July 2 Hands-on & May 31 - June 28 Sunday Virtual
5-week guided group research experience (4 weeks in person June 8 – July 2, 2026), including laboratory experiments, data analysis, abstract writing, poster preparation, and presentation training.

Students will work collaboratively on a research project and prepare a symposium-ready abstract and poster/oral presentation. Portions of abstract/poster preparation may be completed virtually.

Students may start with Boot Camp and upgrade to Research if space is available.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because our programs are planned in advance and materials and space are reserved accordingly, registration fees are generally non-refundable. We encourage families to review the schedule carefully and confirm availability before registering.

In special circumstances, a credit may be issued for a future program, or a refund may be considered minus a 20% administrative fee (up to $100), provided that a written cancellation is received at least two weeks in advance.

No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made after this deadline.

Program Changes
BioMedEdu reserves the right to make adjustments to the program schedule, instructors, or format as needed. If a program is canceled by BioMedEdu, a full refund or credit will be issued.

Absence & Missed Sessions
No refunds or credits will be provided for missed sessions due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, or other circumstances.
