• Seasons of Love Poetry Workshop: The Music of Rent, Poetry and Interconnectedness

June 7, 14, 21, 28 and July 5 at 9:30 am-11:30 am. Seasons of Love will explore musical selections from the Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical Rent in conversation with form poetry. As with Rent, poetry forms and linked poems share an interconnectedness, in their creation and between each other. Like members of a community, they rely on each other to strengthen one another, in an aesthetic fashion. Anchoring Jennifer Jean’s poetic approach, called Saturation Poetry, participants will learn a wide array of techniques on how to approach poetry with music in mind. Hosted at Aplomb Gallery 262 Central Ave, Dover, NH. Free parking in back off of Kirkland Street. We also have an option to join via zoom. Writing notebooks available for in-person attendees! Choose our sliding scale option if cost is a barrier.
