IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to enter for any purpose any RESTRICTED AREA (herein defined as including but not limited to the rodeo arena, competition area, chutes, pens, areas reserved and intended for participants or restricted to the general public, and all walkways, concessions, and other areas appurtenant to any area where any activity related to the event shall take place), or being permitted to compete, officiate, observe, work for, or for any purpose participate in any way in the event, THE UNDERSIGNED, for himself, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, acknowledges, agrees, and represents that he has, or will immediately upon entering any of such restricted areas, and will continuously thereafter, inspect such restricted areas and all portions thereof which he enters and with which he comes in contact, and he does further warrant that his entry upon such restricted area or areas and his participation, if any, in the event constitutes an acknowledgment that he has inspected such restricted area and that he finds and accepts the same as being safe and reasonably suited for the purposes of his use, and he further agrees and warrants that if, at any time, he is in or about restricted areas and he feels anything to be unsafe, he will immediately advise the officials of such and will leave the restricted areas:

1. HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES, AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the participants, sanctioning organization or any subdivision thereof, rodeo committee, stock contractor, rodeo association, arena operators or owners, officials, any persons in any restricted area, promoters, sponsors, advertisers, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the event and each of them, their officers and employees, all for the purposes herein referred to as "releasees", from all liability to the undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss of damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of the undersigned, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while the undersigned is in or upon the restricted area, and/or, competing, officiating in, observing, working for, or for any purpose participating in the event;

2. HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees and each of them from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to presence of the undersigned in or upon the restricted area or in any way competing, officiating, observing, or working for, or for any purpose participating in the the event and whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

3. HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE due to the negligence of releasees or otherwise while in or upon the restricted area and/or while competing, officiating, observing, or working for or for any purpose participating in the event.

THE UNDERSIGNED expressly acknowledges and agrees that the activities of the event are very dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage.

THE UNDERSIGNED further expressly agrees that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive is as permitted by the law of the Province or State in which the event is conducted and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

THE UNDERSIGNED consents to being photographed and/or videotaped during participation in any International Professional Rodeo Association rodeo and consents to the use of those photographs or videotapes in the promotion of IPRA rodeo, including but not limited to their use in promotional literature and their release to print media, television, or other electronic media.

THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNS THE RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT and further agrees that no oral representations or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.

I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT. I UNDERSTAND IT IS A RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS, I UNDERSTAND I ASSUME ALL RISK INHERENT TO RODEO. I VOLUNTARILY SIGN MY NAME EVIDENCING MY ACCEPTANCE OF THE ABOVE PROVISIONS:

S’IL ADVENAIT que le SOUSSIGNÉ soit admis à accéder à une ZONE RÉGLEMENTÉE à quelque fin que ce soit (la zone réglementée est définie dans les présentes, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, comme l’arène de rodéo, l’aire de compétition, les chutes, les enclos ou les zones réservées et destinées aux participants ou limitées au grand public, ainsi que toutes les allées, décharges et autres secteurs dépendants des endroits où sont pratiquées les activités en lien avec l’événement) ou qu’il ait l’autorisation de concourir, d’arbitrer, d’observer, de travailler ou de participer de quelque manière que ce soit à l’évènement, LE SOUSSIGNÉ, en son nom et pour ses représentants personnels, héritiers et parents proches, accepte, reconnait et déclare qu’il fera l’examen des zones réglementées, ainsi que toutes les parties du site où il a accès, et ce, dès son arrivée sur les lieux. Il garantit également que son accès à une telle zone réglementée et, le cas échéant, que sa participation à l’événement confirme l’inspection des lieux. Il confirme alors que ces derniers sont sécuritaires et raisonnablement adaptés à l’utilisation qu’il en fera. Il accepte et garantit également d’aviser immédiatement le corps d’arbitrage si, à n’importe quel moment, il remarquait la non-sécurité de la zone réglementée, zone qu’il devra ensuite quitter :

1. LE SOUSSIGNÉ RENONCE, DÉCHARGE ET S’ENGAGE PAR LA PRÉSENTE À NE PAS POURSUIVRE les participants, l’organisme de sanction ou toute subdivision de celui-ci, le comité du rodéo, le pourvoyeur d’animaux, l’association du rodéo, les dirigeants ou les propriétaires de l’arène, le corps d’arbitrage, toute personne se trouvant dans une zone réglementée, les organisateurs, les commanditaires, les annonceurs, les propriétaires et preneurs des lieux utilisés pour l’événement, ainsi que leurs dirigeants et employés, tous mentionnés dans la présente comme des « renonciataires », de toute responsabilité envers le soussigné, ses représentants personnels, ayants droit, héritiers et proches parents relativement à une perte ou un dommage, ainsi que de toute réclamation ou demande suite à une blessure, un bris matériel ou au décès du soussigné lors de sa présence dans la zone réglementée ou à proximité, ou lorsqu’il doit concourir, arbitrer, observer, travailler ou participer de quelque manière que ce soit à l’événement, et ce, en raison de la négligence des renonciataires ou autrement.

2. IL ACCEPTE PAR LA PRÉSENTE D’INDEMNISER, DE PROTÉGER ET DE DÉGAGER DE TOUTE RESPONSABILITÉ les renonciataires de toute perte, toute responsabilité, tout dommage ou tout frais encouru lors de la présence du soussigné dans la zone réglementée ou à proximité, ou lorsqu’il doit concourir, arbitrer, observer, travailler ou participer de quelque manière que ce soit à l’événement, et ce, en raison de la négligence des renonciataires ou autrement.

3. IL ASSUME PAR LA PRÉSENTE L’ENTIÈRE RESPONSABILITÉ ET TOUT RISQUE DE BLESSURE, DE DÉCÈS OU DE BRIS MATÉRIEL lors de sa présence dans la zone réglementée ou à proximité, ou lorsqu’il doit concourir, arbitrer, observer, travailler ou participer de quelque manière que ce soit à l’événement, et ce, en raison de la négligence des renonciataires ou autrement.

LE SOUSSIGNÉ reconnait et accepte expressément que les activités en lien avec l’événement présentent un grand danger et entrainent le risque de blessure grave, de décès ou de bris matériel. LE SOUSSIGNÉ accepte expressément que la présente entente de décharge et d’indemnité soit conçue dans le sens le plus large et le plus inclusif, comme le permet la loi régissant la province ou l’état où l’événement a lieu. S’il advenait qu’une partie de la présente entente soit jugée invalide, les parties conviennent que le reste de la présente entente reste pleinement et légalement en vigueur.

LE SOUSSIGNÉ accepte d’être photographié et filmé pendant sa participation aux rodéos de l’International Professional Rodeo Association et consent à l’utilisation de ces photos et vidéos pour la promotion du rodéo IPRA, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, à leur utilisation dans la documentation promotionnelle et leur diffusion dans la presse, à la télévision ou dans tout autre média électronique.

LE SOUSSIGNÉ A LU ET A VOLONTAIREMENT SIGNÉ L’ENTENTE DE DÉCHARGE DE RESPONSABILITÉ ET D’INDEMNISATION et accepte qu’aucune déclaration et incitation verbale en dehors de la présente entente écrite n’a été faite.

We, the undersigned, hereby request that the below named minor (minor) be granted permission (1) to enter the restricted area, (2) to participate as a contestant, assistant, official, or otherwise in rodeo events, (3) to compete for money, prizes, recognition or reward, (4) to be coveted by participants’ hospitalization insurance, if applicable, as limited by the master policy (all collectively hereinafter called “permissive entry”).

In consideration of “permissive entry” to minor into the restricted area, which is the area from which admission to the general public is restricted, which includes, but is not limited to the rodeo arena, competition area, chutes, pens, adjacent walkways, concessions, and other appurtenances, we, the undersigned, on behalf of the minor and for ourselves, our personal representatives, heirs, next of kin, spouses and assigns, do hereby:

1. RELEASE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the rodeo committee, stock contractor, rodeo association, sponsors, arena operators or owners, and each of them, their officers, agents, and employees (all hereinafter collectively referred to as “releasees”) from any and all claims and liability arising out of strict liability or ordinary negligence of releasees or any other participant which causes the undersigned injury, death, damages or property damage. We, the undersigned, jointly, severally, and in common, covenant to hold releasees harmless and to indemnify releasees from any claim, judgment, or expenses releasees may incur arising out of any of the minor’s activities or presence in the restricted area.

2. UNDERSTAND that minor’s entry into the restricted area and/or participation in rodeo events contains DANGER AND RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH TO MINOR, that conditions of the rodeo arena change from time to time and may become more hazardous, that rodeo animals are dangerous and unpredictable, and there is INHERENT DANGER in rodeo which we each appreciate and voluntarily assume because the minor and we choose to do so. Each of the undersigned has observed events of the type that the minor seeks to participate in. We further understand that the arena surface, access ways or lack thereof, lighting or lack thereof, and weather conditions all change and pose a danger to the minor. We further understand that other contestants and participants pose a danger to the minor, but nevertheless, WE EACH VOLUNTARILY ELECT TO ACCEPT ALL RISKS connected with the minor’s entry into the restricted area and/or participation in any rodeo events.

3. WE FURTHER UNDERSTAND that the below named minor consents to being photographer and/or videotaped during participation at International Professional Rodeo Association rodeos and consents to the use of those photographs or videotapes in the promotion of IPRA rodeo, including, but not limited to their use in promotional literature and their release to print media, television, or other electronic media.

4. AGREE that this agreement shall apply to any incident, injury, accident or death occurring at any IPRA sanctioned rodeo and FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR THEREAFTER. All subsequent agreements and release documents signed by any of the undersigned shall amplify, but shall in no way limit the provisions of this document. The provisions of this document may be cancelled by any one of the undersigned by delivering to IPRA Canada written cancellation of this agreement which shall be effective 24 hours after the date said cancellation is actually received by IPRA Canada.

WE HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT. WE UNDERSTAND IT IS A RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS. WE APPRECIATE AND ASSUME ALL RISKS INHERENT IN RODEO:

Nous, les soussignés, demandons par la présente que le mineur mentionné ci-après (mineur) soit autorisé à (1) avoir accès à la zone réglementée, (2) participer en tant que concurrent, assistant, arbitre ou à occuper tout autre rôle lors d’un rodéo, (3) concourir pour un montant d’argent, un prix, une reconnaissance ou une bourse, (4) profiter de l’assurance- hospitalisation offerte aux participants, le cas échéant, selon les contraintes du contrat de base (ci-après collectivement appelée « accès permissif »).

Pour que le mineur puisse avoir un « accès permissif » à la zone réglementée, zone définie comme étant l’endroit limité au grand public qui inclut, sans toutefois s’y limiter, l’arène de rodéo, l’aire de compétition, les chutes, les enclos, les allées adjacentes, les décharges et tout autre secteur dépendant, nous, les soussignés, au nom du mineur et pour nous-mêmes, nos représentants personnels, héritiers, proches parents, conjoints et ayants droit, déclarons par la présente ce qui suit:

1. NOUS RENONÇONS, DÉCHARGEONS ET NOUS ENGAGEONS À NE PAS POURSUIVRE le comité du rodéo, le pourvoyeur d’animaux, l’association du rodéo, les commanditaires, les dirigeants ou propriétaires de l’arène, ainsi que leurs responsables, agents et employés (ci-après collectivement appelés « renonciataires ») relativement à toute réclamation et responsabilité découlant de la responsabilité stricte ou de la négligence ordinaire des renonciataires ou de tout autre participant ayant causé une blessure ou des dommages au soussigné, le décès de ce dernier ou des bris matériels. Nous, les soussignés, conjointement, solidairement et en commun, nous engageons à dégager les renonciataires de toute responsabilité et de les indemniser de toute réclamation, tout jugement ou tout frais encouru en lien avec les activités effectuées par le mineur et sa présence dans la zone réglementée.
   
   
2. NOUS COMPRENONS que la présence du mineur dans la zone réglementée ou sa participation au rodéo comporte pour lui un DANGER ET DES RISQUES DE BLESSURE OU DE MORT, que les conditions de l’arène de rodéo peuvent être modifiées à tout moment et qu’elles peuvent engendrer plus de danger, que les animaux du rodéo sont dangereux et imprévisibles et que le rodéo présente un DANGER INHÉRENT, ce que nous comprenons et assumons volontairement, du plein gré du mineur et de nous-mêmes, les soussignés. Chacun des soussignés a observé le type d’événements auxquels le mineur désir participer. Nous comprenons également que la surface de l’arène, la présence ou non de voies d’accès, la présence ou non d’éclairage et les conditions météorologiques changeantes constituent des dangers pour le mineur. Nous comprenons également que les autres concurrents et participants constituent un danger pour le mineur, mais ACCEPTONS VOLONTAIREMENT TOUS LES RISQUES liés à la présence du mineur dans la zone réglementée ou à sa participation à tout rodéo.
   
   
3. NOUS COMPRENONS ÉGALEMENT que le mineur mentionné ci-dessous accepte d’être photographié et filmé pendant sa participation aux rodéos de l’International Professional Rodeo Association et consent à l’utilisation de ces photos et vidéos pour la promotion du rodéo IPRA, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, à leur utilisation dans la documentation promotionnelle et leur diffusion dans la presse, à la télévision ou dans tout autre média électronique.
   
   
4. NOUS ACCEPTONS que cette entente couvre tout incident, toute blessure, tout accident ou tout décès survenant lors d’un rodéo IPRA approuvé, et ce, PENDANT UNE PÉRIODE D’UN (1) AN. La signature de toute entente et de tout document de mainlevée subséquent par l’un des soussignés renforcera les dispositions de cette entente et ne les limitera en rien. N’importe quel soussigné peut annuler les dispositions du présent document en remettant une demande d’annulation écrite de la présente entente à l’IPRA Canada. L’annulation entrera en vigueur dans les 24 heures suivant la date à laquelle l’IPRA Canada recevra ladite annulation.

NOUS AVONS LU CE DOCUMENT ET RECONNAISSONS QU’IL S’AGIT D’UNE RENONCIATION À TOUTE RÉCLAMATION. NOUS COMPRENONS ET ASSUMONS TOUS LES RISQUES QUE PRÉSENTE LE RODÉO.

BY SIGNING BELOW, I CONFIRM THAT I AM THE LEGAL PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF THE APPLICANT AND AM AUTHORIZED TO SIGN ON THE MINOR'S BEHALF.

I ALSO ACCEPT THAT THIS MEMBERSHIP WILL BE DENIED IF A VALID GOVERNMENT PHOTO ID IS NOT UPLOADED UPON SIGNING.
