Important workshop information
Location: 11 Coolidge Ave. unit 10J, Ormond Beach, 32174
Time: May 16th & 17th from 1:00 to 5:00
Supplies included: Cold press watercolor paper 30”x22”, #300 and #140, one of each. One 20”x20” wood cradled board. Golden matte medium. Water buckets, paper towels, and Styrofoam plates to use as a palette. Spray bottles for water, rubbing alcohol.
What to bring: We will have some of the following supplies to share but it is recommended to bring your own favorite paints, tools and papers if you have them.
- Acrylic paints: Goldens titan Bluff, white, black and a variety of yellows, blues, and reds along with any of your favorite "go to"colors
- Mark makers: Graphite, Vine Charcoal, Oil Pastels, Watercolor Pencils, Derwent Inktense Pencils, Stabilo Woody Crayons.
- Tools: and favorite brushes, 1" and 2" flats, cheap chip brushes and a hard rubber brayer, palette knives, old stencils,
- Papers: Any kind of paper that you find interesting! Examples: Pages from old books or magazines, tissue papers with pattern, handwritten letters, Japanese rice or Mulberry papers.
- Please arrive a few minutes before class starts.
- Wear comfortable paint clothes
- Bring snacks if needed
- No experience is needed for the class
- Bring an open mind and creative curiosity!
